Summary: This book reminded me why I don't like Robin Cook
Review: Ok, can we get real for just a second here? Since this book is supposed to be a medical thriller, andnot science fiction, you would expect a half-way plausible plot. Well, don't get your hopes up, because this book is so completely unbelievable, it's ridiculous. The characters are just plain lame, the dialogue and speech make you laugh out loud, and the ending was horrible. I don't know why anyone would give this book a good review.

Summary: Invasion is Brilliant
Review: I have been a Robin Cook fan for a long time, and I think that this book was the best by far. I read this book in about two days because it was so brilliantly written and the storyline was great. It was a classic medical thriller with an X-File type background. I enjoyed it emmensely, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fast-paced book to read.

Summary: Watch the movie "Invasion of the Bodysnatchers" instead!!
Review: Poor. A real let down. Having read some of Robin Cook's earlier work I thought I would enjoy this book. How wrong can you be! So many elements of the book are from the 1978 version of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers that I can't believe it wasn't written whilst watching the movie. The book was then padded out with ever possible cliche available in this genre.

Summary: his best so far!!!
Review: This must be mr Cooks best novel so far. It's the kind of novel you can't put down before you're finished. It's really cool. The plot is really good: an extraterrestrial civilization starts the ultimate biowar against mankind. All the infected people slowly turns into the aliens themselves and soon the entire human race is infected, except for a small group of doctors, students, and a cop, and now they have to save mankind in a race against time... Really good!

Summary: Critique
Review: His best one yet! Robin Cook takes the fears of average american citizens and makes the horror more surreal than any other author of his kind. In his novel,"Invasion", Cook leads the reader to believe that there will be no end to the mystery that surrounds these inexplicable round black discs and the disappearance of Beau. Throughout the novel, he is careful in making the end of the book feel even more "grabbing" to your senses. He makes you want to flip to the back of the book and start form there after the first chapter.

Summary: What next?
Review: I thought that this book was extremely good if you like medical and science-fiction novels. The plot was amazing and the ending was very surprising. There weren't too many medical terms, so it was easy to follow. I haven't seen the movie, but I'm sure it's just as good.

Summary: it was ok
Review: hmmmm, unfortunately i watched almost all of the telemovie before reading this and realising it was a Robin Cook novel. The movie was porr, with attempts at fleshin out Beau by Luke Perry. Hmmmm, the book was better, bu I prefer the more medical based novels, Like Coma.

Summary: I really enjoyed this book. It took me about 2 days to read.
Review: This was one of the easiest books to read of his. Some of his work is so in depth that I cant keep up. I used to work in the medical field and his books are so life like. Well maybe not this one, but alot of them are. Sometimes they even scare me a little. I think twice before I go to the hospital.

Summary: It is cool.
Review: I liked this book because it is a really creepy book to think that actually could happen. Thankyou, Jessica
