Rating: Summary: Talk about Suspenseful!!! Review: This book held my interest from beginning to end. I really liked Taylor because she was strong, independent, determined and did not back down from a serious sitution even when her life was in danger. It is really scary to know that there really are people out there that harbor such feelings of hatred toward others to the point that they are willing to do anything, including murder.I would highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the authors next effort.
Rating: Summary: ZZZZZZZZZZZ Review: This book was actually very boring. It's taken me forever to read it, and now that I am, I'm skipping over pages like it's nothing. I have 130+ pages to go, and I doubt I'll make it through.
And I'm sick of the stereotypes. Everything that happened in this book was too typical for me to take seriously.
Spare yourself this one. Ms. Bowman's Dark Secret was a much easier read.
Rating: Summary: gripping from start to finish Review: This book, White Chocolate, had me spellbound from the very first words. It has it all, suspense, intrigue, romance and the story moves along quickly. This was a fast read for me and I found myself wishing the book would just go on and on.While I was reading the book I had 2 friends take the time to read the backcover and they immediately started to read the first few pages. I had to pry the book out of their hands. Both friends definately wanted to read the book when I was finished. I can't recommend the book enough. We are an interracial family and it was especially nice to read a book specifically about interaccial families. I could only hope Ms.Atkins Bowman would continue other books using these same characters. Get the book, you won't be sorry!
Rating: Summary: Tedious - too many story lines Review: Too many plots, lots of stories left begging, to be told. Not enough time invested in the main characters, Taylor james, Julian and Phillip. It felt as if too many people were placed in a very small room, with limited time all talking, no one listening all with good stories to be told. so it was tedious to read for me, not my favorite type of romance novel.
Rating: Summary: Hot and steamy drama Review: White Chocolate totally engulfs you. It grabbed my attention from page one until the very end. I could hardly put it down! What a wonderful story of true love and drama! 5 stars for you Elizabeth Atkins Bowman!
