Summary: So Dissapointed
Review: I generally enjoy reading Omar Tyree's books but this one bored the hell out of me. I took to long getting to the point and it lost my attention about half way in. I really do hope that the next book I buy from him will have a little bit more of a faster pace than this one did.

Summary: Simply Phenomenal
Review: Maybe it's because the book centered around a dilema that I'm facing. Maybe it's because the book took place in a familiar setting. All I know is that I was completely captured by the characters, theme and overall plot of this book. I was highly skeptical about reading this book, but I'm ever so grateful that I did. Gold star for Omar Tyree!

Summary: Good Reading!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. It was nice to read about relationships from a male perspective. I'm glad to know there are some guys out there with insecurities about dating.

Summary: A second chance with your soul mate
Review: How many times do we get a second chance with our Soulmate ! Bobby found out later that he had what he needed all the time !

As the saying goes he was looking for love and it was right before him but to blind to see it !

Way to go Bobby ,hold on its's coming! While I gave this story 3*'s it was actually 3.5 or 3.8 * !! This was one of the better stories I enjoyed by Omar

Summary: Nice guys may finish last, but they finish good!
Review: I am an avid reader of African-American books. I must say that this book was very interesting. It shows from a man's point of view how he feels and his insecurites. I felt that Omar showed that in this book. I was very impressed about the types of relationships that the character had in the book with different types of women and how he felt about these women. I must say that i was very surprised about the ending of the book (you have to read and find out). For you nice guys out there, you may finishg last, but you finish good.

Summary: A Book That Relates to Life's Experiences
Review: Despite all of the negative reviews of this book, I thought it was pretty good. Maybe it has something to do with me growing up in D.C. and graduating from Howard U. I think adults, who has experienced similiar situations as the character Bobby Dallas, could relate to his trials and triumphs.

Summary: Recommended for the happy & confused.
Review: If you are a man in search of the perfect woman, yet you don't know exactly what you are looking for (but you know you are looking for it), then A DO RIGHT MAN is the book for you. Overall, the main character was interesting enough to keep me glued to the story, however, his indecision about the women in his life gave me a slight headache. He had no specific clue about what he was looking for in a mate and it truly cast him in a slightly wimpy light. Overall, his rise to the top and his adventures in radioland held my interest and rooted for him when he finally made it. A leisurly read on slow days.

Summary: Absolutly Loved It!
Review: Before I read this book, I had never read a romance novel by a male author. For some reason, I always thought they could not possibly "understand" women and write a good story without making men look like "the almighty". A Do Right Man, proved me that I was wrong about male authors. It was a great story and I could relate to many of the characters. I recommend this book to anyone who believes in second chances.

Summary: Maybe i was a little to young
Review: The last Omar Tyree book i read was "Flyy Girl" and i loved it, so i thought it would be a good thing to keep reading all of his books. And what do you know i stumbled on "A do right Man" on sale for ....at a local book store. To start with i was already looking for the book and second of all i was thrilled with the price. But when i started reading it i was quickly turned off. It was so boring from the beginning and i didn't even finish it because i just couldn't keep reading it. And maybe it was above my level i'm 16 and i've read "Chocolate Star", "The Coldest Winter Ever" and so i'm not sure if age is an issue here i just think it was a boring book. I know not one of his best works.
