Summary: I was not disapointed.
Review: The only drawback I could find for this book was the big size of the edition, since it wasn't as convenient to carry around as it would be on a separate book for each part.

This novel is so well written that even a European reader like myself does not get intimitated by the New York slang. The plot is captivating and the heroes alive.

Those who have seen the movie can only admire the way the script has respected the spirit of the book. And those who haven't will still feel as though the images come alive on every sentence.
