Summary: It kept me on the edge of my seat!!
Review: As all of Donna Ander's books; the susupense kept me on the edge of my seat. I have read all of her books and am eagerly anticipating the next one. If you like suspense, you will love reading a book by Donna Ander's.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Gottcha
Review: Carolyn should have had a clear indication of Richard's character when he was attacked by the neighbors dog. I did not find this book suspensefull, but very repetitious, it took a long time for Carolyn to catch on to anyhing.
It seemed to get all neatly tied up in the last couple pages, but there were a few holes in all that the perp managed to accomplish in his reign of terror.
Mediocre to be kind.

Summary: Donna Anders is the Master of Suspense!
Review: I couldn't put this one down!
Donna Anders has written another superb suspense novel! Once I started reading, my husband could not pry it out of my hands.
The dishes went unwashed and the Christmas shopping is yet to be done!

If I could give it SIX STARS, I would! But the rating only goes up to Five! Great job, Ms. Anders!

Summary: So far, so slow...
Review: I guess I shouldn't rate this book so early, seeing as how I'm only on about Chapter 5, but MAN, is this book SLOW!! I've read such great reviews on this book (with just a couple of bad ones) and so far, I can't imagine how this slow-starter can be good!! Plus, it's so much LONGER than 'average' who-dun-it books. I will continue to drag thru this book, just out of curiousity if it gets any better/easier to read!!!

Summary: Kept me in suspense!
Review: I have read all of Donna Ander's Books and love her style of writing. I could not put this book down. She had me from beginning to end. I spent the weekend with this book and could not leave it alone. Carolyn was such a gracious woman and did not deserve all the stuff that happened to her. The end turned out good and I knew she would end up with Barney. Cyber dating, a very bad way to date. Donna, keep those books coming, you are so talented.

Summary: BEST BOOK I HAVE READ THIS YEAR
Review: I have read all of Donna Ander's recent books. IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES held my attention, just as her other books have, until the very end. I enjoy her sytle of writing and can not wait for her next book.

Summary: Don't read when Your Alone!!!
Review: I loved the book. Couldn't put it down even after my family went to bed and I was alone in a quite house. Finally , I had to put the book aside and curl up against my husband, reassuring myself that I was safe, that no one was out there watching. I finished the book after the sun came up in the mornng. Scary. But I loved it.

Summary: GREAT SUSPENSE!
Review: I think this one is Donna Anders' best yet!

This book has great characters, wonderful descriptions and
a unique plot! (It should be made into a movie!)

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not up to snuff
Review: I'm a big fan of women in peril fiction--anything with suspense, intrigue, and mystery. This book completely misses the mark.

I'm not sure if it was a product of editing (the book was 420 pages), but the characters seemed like a series of one-dimensional flatware. I could never identify with the heroine, Carolyn. She seemed too good, too giving, and too kind. She didn't seem all that bright, either.

The story just seemed like a recounting of a string of events. It told the story bouncing from one bad event to another, but the characters were never developed. The book was all conversation and no substance. It didn't evoke any emotion in me...yes, the main character was terrified, but she didn't seem real enough for me to feel anything right there with her.

I've read Donna Anders' other books, and quite frankly, I was surprised to find one of her books a disappointment. Hopefully her next book will live up to her potential.
