Summary: DEFINITELY A BOOK TO READ
Review: Characters you feel are real, certainly a great guy and a good story. Not one to miss.

Summary: COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!
Review: I read the first half of this book in one day and I probably could have read the whole thing if it hadn't been for "other obligations" that literally FORCED me to put the book down! As a matter of fact, after I finished the book, I couldn't keep myself from going back and reading selected parts of it again! I just couldn't get enough of Marc and Karen. Wish there was a sequel! Excellent story, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Summary: a real "page-turner"!
Review: This is the third of Ms. Howard's novels which I've read ("Son of the Morning" and "Touch of Fire" were the others), and this one has really made me a fan of hers! The characters are wonderfully drawn (especially the protagonists), and her description of the French Quarter of New Orleans is right on target. Not only that, but the story line is very tight, and doesn't meander. The only problem I had with the novel was the very rapid progression of events, although the plot-line did have a certain logic to it. A very good example of a "fun read"!

Summary: Marc and Karen rock!
Review: I thouroughly enjoyed this one. Although not as beautifully detailed as Dream Man (few books are!) I was still drawn into the mystery and romance. Marc and Karen hit the sheets pretty early on then can't forget about one another. Something a little different than the usual long, slow build up, but it only makes the story better. John Medina, one of my all-time favorite Howard characters, is introduced in this story.

Summary: Linda Howard is a treasure!
Review: This was the first but by no means the last of her books I will read. What a find! Loved the characters. When I come to care about the characters, I know I have found an author I will read again.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fast paced and hot
Review: This is one of my all-time favorite books. The mystery, while not great, was interesting and I loved the hero and heroine (especially the hero). They were both strong well-developed characters and their relationship was believable and hot. Not to mention most of the book was set in New Orleans which lent a great atmosphere to the whole story.

Summary: Excellent but too short!
Review: I came upon this book at my local library so I had nothing to lose by reading it. I had read the reviews and saw they were mixed. I am now a new Linda Howard fan. This book was a definie page turner and you were kept guessing about the actual contents of the notebook. I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. It was a little too short though. I would love to see Marc and Karen's story continue.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Disappointed that it ended so soon
Review: This was a decent book, Linda Howard had me guessing about what vital information was in the notebook. She didn't give anything away. She did a great job developing Marc Chastain, I felt like I knew him and understood the character, but felt that Karen Whitlaw wasn't as well developed. I think she needed more of a personality. Something was missing. Other than that, this book was a great read and I would recommend it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Steamy, suspenceful, and absolutely absorbing.
Review: Ms. Howard has done it again. I've loved everything that I've read by her so far, but I think "Kill and Tell" is the best. The characters are so likable, almost like you already know them. The setting couldn't possibly be any more seductive and the plot twists and turns keep you glued to the pages. I really enjoyed reading this book. My only complaint is that it ended!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: GREAT ONE
Review: I love it. I finished reading it in just 4 hours. I can't stop myself. Readers beware, this book will make you unable to stop. I love the main characters. Marc and Karen were great couple. But you know what, I kinda like John Medina's character too. He's so cool!! I wish Ms. Howard will write a special book about him.
