Rating: Summary: Brilliant! Review: This book was incredibly captivating for me from the very beginning. The best part is that I've been at many of the locations he writes about, I've visited... brought the book with me when I went to cancun and made sure to sneak into the Club Internacinal Cancun to check out the restaurant/bar he describes in the book.. it was cool to think Dave Morrell himself was there in the same room, and I was able to see what he described with my own eyes. Anyhow, back to the book, it's certain complex, has great characterization, and a great plot. I will agree that the beating the main char. took was a bit much for him to still be running around, but... that aside, it was definitely a great comeback, after my dismay with 5th Profession (which, I do not agree was one of his best).
Rating: Summary: A Very Good Book Review: This is a book that is hard to put down. I have read it twice and it was just as exciting the second time as the first. Buchanan is a well-developed character as an undercover secret agent who is always thinking and can handle any situation. Assumed Identity has sparked an interest in me to read some of Morrell's other books. I recommend this novel to anyone who likes a fast-paced, intelligent book that you'll be thinking about even after you've stopped reading it
Rating: Summary: One great book!!! Review: This is the first book I have read from David Morrell.
It is the book that got me hooked on Morrell. He
writes so desciptive that you can actually see the
characters in your mind. I would recommend this book to anyone.
It is truly one of my favorite books of all time.
Rating: Summary: Assumed Action Review: This was my second Morrell book after 'Brotherhood of the Rose'. I will definately read more of Morrell's books. I don't like mindless action books but a story where the characters are 'human' and their journey involves action-orineted situations. This is that type of journey.I agree that the ending for me was a bit dissapointing, there was so much left unresolved.
Rating: Summary: one of his greats Review: Truly a fantastic book. One of his best works since the Fraternity of the Stone and The Brotherhood of the Rose. Morrell is back to his self again with an exceptional piece of work. Mystery, intrigue, suspense, and constant action helped keep me reading. Heck, I finished it in one day.
