Summary: Mildly amusing.
Review: I've ready most, if not all of this series, and this is by far the worst. The writing is now formulaic. Max is sexy as hell, and lazy, and Annie Darling is just....well, darling. Outside of that, the only thing that happens is a convoluted plot, lots of references to other writers, and some good puzzles for the mysterioso. But if you spend much money or time on this little piece of fluff, you deserve the final words in the novel: "April Fool."

Summary: Setting Cloying; Plot Great
Review: The fact that the protagonist's last name is "Darling" points up much of what is wrong with this book--there's such a thing as too cozy. Annie seems stereotypically "spunky" and Max's psychic mother, Laurel, has got to go. However, the plot never lets up and I couldn't put the book down.

Summary: Another great one to add to the collection!
Review: This was yet again another great Darling mystery in the Death on Demand series. Never is there a time in this book where the reader gets bored by the ongoings of the characters. Carolyn Hart keeps the clues coming with each page you turn so that the reader can also try to figure out WHODUNIT! In this part of the series Hart throws you off of what truly is going on the small Broward's Rock Island. Once you begin the Death on Demand series you will fall in love with the many characters and simply have to read more.
