It was definitely one of the top 10 Thrillers that I have ever read, and I read about 3 a month!! Next I will read Stealing Faces. I'm sure it will be good also. Try this one, you will not be sorry if you like suspense thrillers, I read it in 1 week!
Rating: Summary: One Complaint Review: I have one major complaint regarding this book. It was so fantastic, so gripping I got 3 hours of sleep last night. I had to force myself to put the book down so I could sleep. At breakfast, I picked it up again only to realize when I surfaced that I now had only 1/2 hour to get a shower, get dressed and drive the 35 minute ride to work! This is the first book I have read by this author and it is not going to be the last. This was incredible! I am so glad I found this author! Thanks so much, Amazon, for the suggestions of authors or I would have missed this great book.
Rating: Summary: Prescott is a Magician Review: I only say that because he is the Master of Mis-Direction. He'll have you thinking that the story is going in one direction but suddenly, he takes you somewhere totally different. For example, he will develop a character and describe all of his or her great attributes but may mention one negative. However, that one negative might turn out to be the turning point of the novel. This book is packed with excitement from beginning to end. If you are a fan of mystery and suspense, you won't be disappointed.

Rating: Summary: Who's the Hunted? Review: Michael Prescott has demonstrated a very keen ability to create very convincing and resourceful damsels in distress; villains that are thoroughly disgusting and evil; heroes that pop out of nowhere; and in "The Shadow Hunter," a truly surprise villain that comes out of nowhere for a real stunner! The novel focuses on a private security firm that specializes in aiding victims of stalkers. The book opens nicely with our heroine, Abby Sinclair, trying to keep a female stalker from killing an actor who jilted her. Unfortunately, things don't go well for Abby, and as she re-enters the story, she is assigned to track a particularly nasty stalker hounding a successful and beautiful newscaster. From this point, the novel twists and turns into several surprising plot devices. Abby finds herself being stalked after she discovers that the stalker has an informant who knows her every move. The identity of this informant is truly surprising, and the climax is taut and terrifying. This is Prescott's best book to date, and should firmly entrench him in the forefront of today's suspense writers.
Rating: Summary: The Shadow Hunter Review: Michael Prescott is one of the best suspense writers to come along in many years. He is a wordsmith with an incredible sense of pace and a unique understanding for the female viewpoint. "The Shadow Hunter" is fast-paced from beginning to end, a book that is really hard to put down.
Rating: Summary: A Most Satisfying Thriller Review: Michael Prescott is quickly becoming one of my most favorite authors. This latest thriller from him is his best so far in my own humble opinion. Abby Sinclair is our main character and she has a very unique job. She gets close to the people who are stalking celebrities. Her last job ended up in a disaster, the client killed by his stalker. Abby then takes some time off to regroup. She is called back into the game by Travis, her sometime lover and boss of the investigative company who has hired her. She is given a second chance with Travis. He wants her to protect a television anchor who is being stalked. Abby then goes undercover to get close to the stalker by moving in next door to him. What follows is an elaborate game of cat and mouse, but the question is, who is the cat and who is the mouse? You will not be disappointed by the ending of this book. What a ride! Lady Pandora
Rating: Summary: An overall good read Review: Michael Prescott's, The Shadow Hunter, was a good read, and the first of his that I have read. He difinitely puts the words together. The plot was excellent, but I found the characters to be lacking in depth. The characterization was such, that they seemed cold, not someone you could identify with or truely care about. All in all, if you just want a read, without any emotional attachments to the characters, then this is the book for you.
