Summary: Walker is fantastic!!!
Review: I stumbled across a copy of one of Walker's "instinct" books while browsing in a bookstore. After finishing it in one reading, I purchased all the books in this series....Dr. Jessica Coran is not only a great character but the storylines are very intriguing and on point. There is something to be said with being allowed to grow with a character. After that I began researching anything else Mr. Walker had written...again I discovered his "edge" books!!! The growing relationship between Lucas & "Mere" is interesting & only adds to the plot!!! If you are looking for great mysteries, Robert Walker is your man!!!!!

Summary: Throw your limits out, Lauralie is here !
Review: If you value good research coupled with a good, fast moving story line you'll love Final Edge. Walker put a lot of talent and research into this one. Watch out for Lauralie; she'll expand whatever limits you have by a factor of ten. A great read, enjoy !

Summary: Most vicious female serial killer ever conceived
Review: Mr. Walker snatches you up immediately and just never lets go, and her he has created the worst most fantastic female serial killer in all of serial killerdom; Lauralie Blodgett makes Eileen Wournos of Monster fame look like a girlscout out selling cookies, I am telling you. This is a true dyed in the wool throwback to when monsters were monsters. The book plotline is so fast, so breath-taking, no one will believe this; it is absolutely indescribeably GOOD reading. People will likely throw this book across the room at some point as it is so shocking, and others will place it out with the cat during the night just so it is not in the house . while they sleep,. Loved every minute of it. But the ending, wow! This ending happened like six times and Walker knows that his readers do not want this to end, so he masterfully unravels the ending so gracefully and with such control. No author writing can do endings like this man.

Summary: Final Edge.
Review: Thank goodness Det. Lucas Stonecoat and Dr. Meredyth Sanger are back. Final Edge is a wonderfully gripping story of madness, revenge and relationships. The beauty is in the details.

The characters are complex with a depth to them that is refreshing. Their behaviors and interactions with each other ring true as they try to understand and cope with the horror that is happening in their worlds. Throughout the "Edge" series, relationships have been evolving. Final Edge furthers these relationships in satisfying ways. Mr. Walker's books are always rich in details. Final Edge is no different. His descriptions of police and medical examiner procedures, as well as the various cultral glimpses revealed, are fascinating and help sustain the novel's momentum. I became invested in and cared about the characters during their journey. At one point in the novel I was afraid Mr. Walker had gone astray and relied on an overused literary scenerio. I should have known better! He brought me right back with a deft stroke of his pen. (You may find this too, the scence involves the serial killer and Meredyth Sanger meeting face to face. Pay attention.)

Mr. Walker's fluent, descriptive writing style is a joy to read. I eagerly await his next "Edge" installment. While waiting readers should check out the Dr. Coran "Instinct" series. Another series worthy of praise.

Summary: Don't miss this chilling thriller.
Review: The mutilated body of a woman has been found and Detective Lucas Stonecoat is being delivered mementos...piece by piece.

Lucas teams up with psychiatrist Dr. Meredyth Sanger to figure out who is behind the twisted game and stop them before any more bodies turn up.

As Lucas and Meredyth work overtime to stop a killer, another couple are also working overtime...Arthur and Lauralie seem like an average couple, but in the privacy of their own home they are a sick pair with a taste for the macabre. The couple are playing a deadly game, one that has them proving their love by any means necessary, even murder...and worse still is the fact they have invited another couple to join them in the game.

To stop these killers Lucas and Meredyth will be forced to answer the question: How far are you willing to go to survive?

'Final Edge' is another great entry in the Edge series. Gruesome murders, twisted killers and slick plot twists will keep readers on the edge of their seats turning the pages of this masterful thriller. Robert Walker has been compared to Dean Koontz and Patricia Cornwell, but he is better...his writing style smooth, his pacing super fast, but most importantly he keeps his readers entertained with intelligent, original and exciting plots.

A chilling thriller that can't be put down.

Summary: Final Edge.
Review: This is the final book in the series according to what I have read. There is a sense of loss with the ending of any good series. I enjoyed the series and Final Edge.

Having read Stone Cold by Parker had almost turned me on "couple" killers. I was almost reluctant to read Final Edge because of this. The fact I loved the other Edges and Stonecoat convinced me to at least try the book.

I was relieved that Walker gave me interesting complex Serial Killers. It was sheer delight. The complex pysche of the female killer was the draw for me to finish the book. I had to read to find out where she was going next.

I started the series, as I said, because of Stonecoat. I was a bit disappointed in him and his lack of development in this book. It was as if he was "wrapped up". This made sense after I read it was the last of the series. He didn't seem to develop as deeply as previously. As I said he was wrapped up and so was the good Dr. Instead the complex insight used on Stonecoat in earlier Edges went into the killers. It worked. I don't regret adding it to my bookshelf as a keeper addition.

As the final book it worked and worked very well leaving me with a content feeling about the series. If you are new to the series read the other Edges then read this one but be sure to read this one. See if we can't talk him into more or at least Remo and North. (...)
