Summary: A thriller that constantly keeps you on the edge of her seat
Review: This book is one of Agatha Christie's greatest thrillers of all. I couldn't stop reading it. Once i thought i knew what would happen something what i totally didn't expect happened. This book shows the eccentric character of Christie's creative and skeemy, Hercule Poirot and how he intelligently and cunningly comes up with a solution to this case that had baffled all others. Agatha Christie's talent and ability as a wonderful writer shines in this book with unexpected twists and turns of plot.

Review: This book was good. Not GREAT like some of Christie's other books, but still good. It lacks creativity.

Summary: "Please help me get rid of my husband!"
Review: This classic Poirot novel(alternative title- "13 at Dinner")is a good, quick read when you're in the mood for a mystery.

What I particularly liked about the story, is that it takes you for a spin. At first it all seemed so obvious I got a little annoyed. And although it is all so obviously simple in the end, Christie does a wonderful job at making the reader, as well as her detective hero, believe otherwise. I also liked this one because it is narrated by Poirot's trusty sidekick, Captain Hastings(Christie's version of Dr. Watson)who ordinary man that he is, proves invaluable to Poirot, and ultimately is the one person who can help him.

I Strongly recommend to any Christie fan, or anyone who just likes a good mystery now and then.

Summary: The FIRST Poirot book written!
Review: This was the introduction of M. Hercule Poirot. A beautiful actress not only wants her husand dead, but asks the infamous M. Poirot to help her. Naturally he declines, but her husband still turns up dead! Whodunnit? I know, but do you? ;-) Find out for yourself. It truly is a wonderful book. Christie has an incredible talent for breathing personality into her characters. A Christie don't miss book!

Summary: Minor Classic
Review: While not the strongest of the Poirot books, Lord Edgware Dies is still a classic of the mystery genre. Containing most of the stock elements-- peerage, actresses, red herrings, and personality types-- it paints a very interesting character in the person of Jane Wilkinson.
