Rating: Summary: "Solid Read" Review: A few people on a message board that I visit from time-to-time had mentioned this book along with several others by a Publishing Company that Prints On Demand, not my usual cup of tea, but "Wayne's Dead" sounded like something that I might get into, so I ordered the book, as well as, a few other books put out by this same POD publisher. For a POD book, Wayne's Dead by Christy French, wasn't that bad. I was pleasantly surprised as a matter-of-fact. Wayne's Dead, is a sold read. The plot flows along nicely even though a little predictable, and the characters (for the most part) come off as real people (like you and me), this new writer did an admirable job overall, I thought. Would I buy another book by this writer? Just ordered "Chasing Horses." I'll be back with a review of it after I read the book.

I thought maybe a good story, but take my word for it, this book goes way past good! It is a GREAT STORY! Ms. French had the ability to hold my attention throughout the whole book, I kid you not. "Wayne's Dead" by super-writer Christy French is a definate "BESTSELLER," Take my word for it, buy the book, and after you read the story, come back to Amazon.Com and post a review of it!I have noticed where Ms. French's writing style has been compared to several other writer's, well on that note I agree, but I would also like to add a name to the ever-growing number of comparisons, Tami Hoag, my personal favorite until Ms. French happened along, now it seems I have two favorite writers to entertain me!
Rating: Summary: A Writer That Shows A Lot Of Promise! Review: I think Christy Tillery French is a writer that shows a lot of promise. This is the second book by this new writer that I have read. And, I look forward to reading a lot more of her work in the very near future. Ms. French is a gusty writer with an active imagination...an imagination that I find extremely entertaining. If you enjoy something a little different in the way of a mystery than Wayne's Dead is the book for you, take my word for it you will not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: A Different Kind of Serial Killer! Review: I pulled this book up to order another copy for a friend's birthday (that's how much I liked it) and saw something that needs to be clarified. I don't normally write reviews but after seeing one from someone who doesn't have backbone enough to leave their name but claims to be an author (which makes the whole review suspicious, if you ask me), I want to clarify something. Whoever this is says this has been done before. Really? I've never seen it. And compares it to "Basic Instinct". Well, gee, did the serial killer in Basic Instinct suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder? I don't think so. We are all entitled to our opinions, and in that regard, whatever that person's agenda is, they should at least read the book first before saying things about it that are untrue. They were right about one thing: Ms. French does show talent. Having gotten that out of the way, I would like to say that this is a very good read if you like thrillers and one I recommend to anyone who just wants to enjoy a book. The fact that I'm ordering again attests to that. And whatever the heck POD and mass market are, I could care less. It's the way the book reads that works for me.
