Summary: OUTSTANDING
Review: This is the first novel by Sandra Brown I read and I enjoyed it very much. At first, I said to myself, "oh no, another book about scandals at the White House (as if we don't have enough already)..." But this novel was quite different than many others, a real page-turner. I finished it in two days and am looking forward to reading the rest of her books. READ EXCLUSIVE, you won't regret it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A daring political thriller
Review: Exclusive has it all: a fast-paced thrilling plot; passion, corruption, and scandal in the White House; determined heroes and frightning villians. This story is one you can't stop reading. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I've enjoyed most of Sandra Brown's novels, but this one was a disappointment. I found Bondurant to be a chavanist pig and a jerk and Barrie was just boring. (and obviously stupid when it comes to men)

Summary: Unbelievable plot, perfect beach reading
Review: How do books like this get published? Okay, it was better than some but the highly unlikely, rather sordid plot really pushes the envelope. Here we have a very sleazy President with a well-hidden past and little connection to local politics (we never hear of the Vice President until the very end of the book), a First Lady who has managed to keep her manic-depression under wraps, a reporter who can't seem to check her own work without making rash judgements. The "hero" makes a 180 degree turn in character from the background we are given and the plot twist that finally brings the story to a conclusion is so forced as to be laughable.

Summary: This is one of the best books I've read in a long time.
Review: This book holds your interest from start to finish. You can't put it down. It has some interesting and very unpredictable twists that keeps the reader guessing right until the very end. Never having read any of Sandra Browne's books, now I'm sure I'll go in search of all I can find. She's a great author!

Summary: UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Review: I thought that this book was very well written and that miss brown did a good job including important pieces of the puzzle when and where they were needed to piece together just the right information to make the story good. i thought the story was a bit boring in the beginning but figured I would keep reading because my plane flight was definitely more boring!!!! As I got farther i started to piece together the information and it all made more and more sense to me!!! My opinion on the book is that you should order it right now and read it!!!!! It is fantastic!!!

Summary: The best Sandra Brown book so far. Read it!
Review: I would have to agree with the reader that wrote "Fast paced, twist and turns of plot, surprises, believability, edge-of-the-seat tension and REAL people". I couldn't have written it better.
The book was brilliant, and mostly it wasn't predictable.

The pace was quick, Barrie and Gray were loveable, and the book was written with good humor and the right amount of cynicism . I loved Barrie for being human and smart. You could see her changing through the story, learning from the mistakes she make. Gray was the tough and sexy guy, but he wasn't Arrogant, and he was careful when playing with fire.

Summary: Riveting - read it in 2 nights!
Review: Sandra Brown has done it again. I finished this riveting 456 page book in only 2 nights! Just when you think you have everything figured out - surprise! Sure, it's not high literature, but it's a fun read and definitely as good as Grisham. And it's great to be able to say that about a female author!

Summary: An extremely good book!
Review: This is the first Sandra Brown book I've read and found it difficult to put down. Barry Travis was made to "look" like a less than great reporter but she did uncover facts that no one would wanted revealed. Her coverage of SIDS is enlightening to those of us who don't know the "facts". The cover-up by the White House over the death of the young son, the sly and cunning President and his Aide and an even worse First Lady made it difficult for me to put this book down. Up to the very end, the last sentence, you never know what is going to be discovered and revealed. Sandra Brown is on my list of must reads now!

Summary: One of the Best!!!
Review: Sandra Brown is most definitely one of the best authors out there today. I have read quite a few of her novels and the newer they are, the better. "Exclusive" combined politics, mystery and romance all in one. I was beginning to grow tired with her books, until "French Silk", "Charade", "Mirror Image", "The Witness", and "Where There's Smoke". She just proves that romance novels don't have to be nothing but sappy love stories. Throw in a mystery and it's gold! I loved it!!
