Rating: Summary: Brown Boldly Broadcasts! Review: This fast paced treasure from Sandra Brown delivers us into the secretive world of politics. Barrie Travis, a news boadcaster, is privy to information of the death of the First Lady's infant son. And is twisted into doing the story, the whole story.Between the mania of the press, the sleazy political characters, the mental health of the First Lady & Barrie's own tangles with her bosses, this is an intriguing plot that is plausible & very bold. I thouroughly enjoyed this book. One of Browns best. With all that has gone on at the White House in the last few years....very beliveable! Grab your beach chair, towel & sunscreen....you'll be there 'til the surprising end. if you find my comments of interest, please click the "YES"--thanks--CDS
Rating: Summary: Hooks you in and keeps you there til you're done! Review: This is the first Sandra Brown novel I have read and it is absolutely wonderful! Suspenseful until the very end with unexpected twists along the way. Believable characters and just enough romance. This is an excellent read!
Rating: Summary: One in a million... Review: Geez.. this has to be Mrs. Browns best book yet. It was action packed, on the edge of your seat attention is due to this novel. She defiantly knows her way around a television station and proves it with Barrie and Gary.. on how they dug up so many secrets about the not so happy "first family". Great read.. but wont spoil the ending for you.. secrets revealed right to the very last page! None of her books had or has topped this one. Great beach read!
Rating: Summary: Sandra Brown at her best Review: I have read several of Sandra Brown's books, including "The Witness" which I thought was fantastic, but this book was by far the best... I don't think I have ever read a book that kept me in suspense right up until the last sentence..
Rating: Summary: Excellent, One Of Sandra Brown's Best Review: I've read most of Ms. Brown's books but somehow missed this one until now. Turned out to be one of my favorites. Dragged a wee bit in the middle but the twisted ending was GREAT. Well worth a read!
Rating: Summary: Obviously never been in a newsroom Review: Ms. Brown might spend a little time doing research, as it is painfully obvious she's never been anywhere near a news department. These characters aren't even close to the real thing. News people are a lot more obnoxious. I ought to know. I'm one of them.
Rating: Summary: Mesmerizing, twisting tale of scandal in the White House Review: This is the first book from Ms. Brown,i've had the pleasure of reading. From begining to end,she clearly keeps you intrigued and entertained by her smart, fresh story-telling abbilities.Add in,amazingly believable charecters,a "drama" dipicting White House scandle, and you have a truely,must-read novel that sends you on a rollercoaster through the lives of the powerful where dark pasts, murder and chilling clinches -end in a triumphant, climatic show-down!!After reading "Eclusive" -I would definatly, buy another novel of Ms. Brown's!
Rating: Summary: A page turner Review: This is the first Sandra Brown book I have ever read and it will not be my last. Her style reminds me of the earlier books of Mary Higgins Clark, which I felt were her best. I absolutely loved the ending... especially when I thought I "knew" how it would end and found I was wrong, happily wrong.
Rating: Summary: Best Page Turner I've Read Review: Ashamed to admit that I could not put the book down and that I read it completely in one day. The plot twists and turns with the flip of every page. It grabbed and thoroughly held my attention to the very end.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book! Review: This book is an absolute page turner. Just when you think you know what is going on, you find out you don't. You will find yourself swept into a world of politics and mystery (not to mention the romance) that you don't want to end. This just may be the best Sandra Brown book ever.
