Summary: What an ending!
Review: This book was much better than the last one. It was a fun read and kept you guessing until the end. And the ending was worth the time! I can't wait to find out what happens next. If you have been keeping up with Agatha, you MUST read this book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Unbelievably DUMB story`
Review: This is the first time I have read an MC Beaton book and I am
very disappointed. It looked like a good mystery, and as far as the mystery part it was good till you find out that the fairies
are just christmas lites some kids ages 4,5,7,8 setup and the kids were the ones who stole stuff from the house. Oh please,
kids at that age are going to be smart enough and able enough to setup christmas lites and pull this off. This right here totally turned me off. Don't think I will be reading anymore of the MC Beaton books.

Summary: Can't wait for the next one.
Review: What a fun read. I really enjoyed this and liked seeing a slightly different Agatha. Her relationship with Sir Charles reminds me a little of the antagonism between Sayer's Harriet and Peter Wimsey. Just a little! Great ending, can't wait to read the next. Agatha has jumped ahead of Hamish as M.C.'s best character.

Summary: Books you love to hate
Review: What is it about M.C. Beaton? She writes well. Enough. Her characters are usually annoying. But I grab each title as it becomes available. In Fairies (not) from Fryfam, I loved the ending because I knew Agatha Raisin was finally REALLY going to get hers. Go James. Be the jerk you are! (Probably we don't want to look too carefully under this rock.)

Summary: "I Believe" in faeries; Evidently, so does our Agatha!
Review: Who else but a 50ish, amateur, wanna be sleuth, upon a fortuneteller's advice, would up and move to Lavender Cottage in the Norfolk village of Fryfam JUST to find the man of her dreams! She meets some truly odd people; reunites with a past sticky situation and in the end... Ahhhh, IT'S GREAT ! I cannot wait for the next Agatha Raisin adventure. Read one M.C. Beaton novel and you'll be hooked!
