Summary: A Political Page-Turner!
Review: While a departure from Stephenson's sci-fi, those who have read Zodiac will find themselves right at home. The authors have done a superb job of painting a paranoid nightmare of a techno-cratic, psycho-babble, glad-handing politics society gone just one step too far. Its characters will keep you reading, while its subject will have looking at the Y2K elections *very* differently. A must read for anyone who loves politics and the games that they play!

Summary: Witty and slight stretch of reality
Review: You ever had the feeling that the people you elect aren't really the ones who set the agendas and that maintaining power is more important than doing the right thing? Have you ever been awed by the astronomical size of the US national debt? Then you are in the target audience of this book.

With plenty of humorous twists and slightly weird characters the book is a great read that does not feel safely distanced from actual events.
