Gin and Daggers: A Murder, She Wrote Mystery Novel

Review: Jessica has done it, yet, again. As she travels to England to visit her friend and world's most famous mystery writer, Marjorie Ainsworth, the real mystery begins. As usual, Jessica stumbles upon a body, this time it being her friend, Marjorie. The plot of the story thickens when Jessica puts her own life on the line to find the culprit who murdered Marjorie in her own bedroom. I enjoyed this book so much I couldn't put it down. Every page is a page-turner, and Donald Bain has captured an atmosphere engrossed with suspense and thrills. I'm comparing "Gin and Daggers" to other great Murder She Wrote mysteries such as "Knock 'em Dead" and "Rum and Razors." One word for Bain: Genius.

Summary: A Good Summer Reading Book!
Review: This is the first Murder, She Wrote novel that I have read, but I really enjoyed it. I found the book slow a few times, but overall the plot and the characters were engaging. This is a great book to get one interested in the series, and it is also a good summer reading book for one to take on a vacation. Now, I'm about to start the Murder, She Wrote book entitled Murder on the QE2. I definitely think that these books live up to the wonderful reputation of the television series of the same name.

Summary: Read the whole series
Review: This was a great book, as they all are. I have all the books, but started reading them last summer. I have read all but 4. The show is also good. I was also a little confused when she didn't know George Sutherland. I know she had met him in Martinis & Mayham and Highland Fling Murders. Then I saw that this was a reissue of a 1989 book. I never saw this book for sale before it came out in April. I'm glad they reprinted because now I will be to say I've read every book in the series. Read them all.

Summary: Jessica Again
Review: This was once again a good book in her series of murder she wrote books. I have read all but the last one; Trick and Treachery. I have followed her tv series and books for many years and hope she continues to write more. When I read any of her books I can almost feel myself in the tv version, like I am there and one of the characters. Jessica Fletcher is a wonderful writer and I hope that she will be around for years to come, writing more of the Murder She Wrote series.
