Breach of Duty: A J.P. Beaumont Mystery

Summary: A unique twist to a true mysterie series
Review: This is absolutely one of the best of the J.P. Beaumont series. I have read all of this series, and this one is really tops. Breach of Duty is, definately vintage Jance - vintage Beaumont. It was as gripping and suspenseful as any of the series. It is a must for all Jance - Beaumont fans. I am anxiously awaiting to see what follows in the series.

Review: This is at the same time the best and worst J.P. Beaumont novel I have read. During the course of trying to untangle two cases at the same time, several things happen which alter his life. I won't go into details, that would ruin the book for you, but this book is a must for Beaumont fans. I have read some reviews which speculate that J.P. won't be back, but I believe differently. He will be back, maybe as a tougher, smarter, changed J.P., but he will be back. I can't wait.

Review: While checking to see if there was a new Jance book this Spring, I read the reviews for her latest book. I was shocked. Jance's book are written for a quick fun read. I enjoy them just for an escape. Her Joanna Brady books are written almost in the style of a different person. AND I PREFER JOANNA BRADY ANYTIME TO J.P. BEAUMONT. I really get tired of of the whining presented by J.P. Beaumont. At least Joanna Brady tries to face life positively, and tries to avoid the same mistakes. PLEASE, Mrs. Jance, continue to write about Joanna Brady.

Review: With this book Jance has truly given new life to J. P. Beaumont, and the way that it occurs seems natural and appropriate! I can hardly wait for the next Beaumont book to see what surprises life has in store for him!
