Summary: excellent book
Review: As usual Ridley Pearson had written another hard to put down book. You can just feel the pain and fear the parents are going through. Also the pain Lou is going through with his wife and her cancer. another great Pearson book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a great read!
Review: Between the U.S. Open Tennis and Ridley Pearson's new book The Pied Piper, I never left the house, answered the telephone or barely remembered to eat! Great character developement and depth of plot. I was grabbed and hauled for the long ride right from the beginning. DON'T WAIT for the paperback!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Ridley Pearson can do nothing wrong!
Review: Every time I start one of his books, I know everything else goes on hold - tremendously entertaining, characters are rich and real, twisting plots that surprise, jolt, electrify, sadden and satisfy. Intelligent, crisp writing, no excess baggage. LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!!!

Summary: Great book, Fast read
Review: I am a huge Ridley Pearson fan. This is a great book and would recommend to all.

Summary: BORING!!!!
Review: I guess if I hadn't read so many novels from other authors I wouldn't know any better. Although I agree that the main character "Lou Boldt" should be different than the prototypical 'cop on the edge' I think Pearson took it too far. Boldt doesn't swear and drives a Volvo? I thought of my nerdy neighbor!! I just couldn't relate nor feel for the title character. Besides the fact that Boldt was/is a nerd the story itself is average at best. I felt that this kind of story has been done several times over. Do yourself a favour and read Baldacci, Follett, and DeMille.

Summary: A Real Page Turner
Review: I too love Ridley Pearson's Lou Bolt series... This is one of the best books yet.... a must read for all myster/thriller fans

Summary: Can't put the book down
Review: I usually read stories that take me to another place and another time, reality isn't an issue. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Ridley Pearson's Pied Piper. It brings to light a problem in the world, albeit an important one; missing/abducted children. This story is from the perspective of those involved attempting to recover the children and break the cycle of this horrible crime. It's a must-read!

Summary: As Good As It Gets
Review: I'm rating the audio edition of this title. The reader's halting, stumbling, faltering delivery of this text completely detracts from the story, plot and action. I suffered through the second side of tape one, boxed up the tape and took the "book" to the used book store and traded it for the paperback! The story is ventage Pearson -- you either like his writing or not. I do.
