Rating: Summary: Erdman at His Best Review: If you like financial thrillers, you can't go wrong with Erdman, and he's at his best here. Usually the loose ends of "thrillers" bother me for years after I've read them; years after I've read this one I still admire the neat way he ties everything up nicely.

Rating: Summary: Seems farfetched Review: It seems so farfetched, but on the other hand, It the President of the US can do things like.... why not?
Rating: Summary: high finance high jinks Review: no frills, fast paced storytelling of capture, escape and chase in the upper strata of greed. coincidences and rationales are built into the narrative and into the sparse dialogue to smooth out the plausibility bumps that might otherwise have slowed the flow. a peek at the rituals of the high priests of capitalism. enjoyable formula bestseller.
Rating: Summary: A Well Researched Book! Review: Once again Paul Erdman displays a vast knowledge of the world of money. A man who has headed the Federal Reserve Bank is set up by a shifty money man who is laundering money for a shady character from Corsica. The former banker is jailed for a crime he din not commit. Thanks to his wife and her will to not give up he finally gains his freedom. The shifty money man and his partner are killed by the shadowy character from Corsica. Paul Erdman has the ability to write financial books and make them very readable. This book is a good example of this. Buy it. You will not be dissapointed.
Rating: Summary: Excellent thriller, you feel the pain and frustration Review: This book describes one these nightmare situations where the protagonist is accused of a crime he does'nt even know was committed. Although not a memorable book it is very entertaining(sp?). I recommend this book
Rating: Summary: GREAT Review: This ia a book I strongly recommend. In the begining, I thouth it's a book for economists because of the precision and the details of the finance transactions betwen banks and bankers. But when the thriller became the most important thing in the hole story, it was just impossible to put the book down. This is one of the best i've ever read.
