Summary: Great ride!
Review: Excitement from page one. The action sequences are riviting, the submarine scenes ring with authenticity. This book is good for your cardio-vascular systems . . . it gets your heartrate up without you ever leaving your chair. But be warned, make no plans after you pick the book up, because you won't be able to put it down until it is read.

Summary: Move Over Tom Clancey
Review: FINAL BEARING is a real page turner. Make sure you have the time to stick with this intriguing "get the bad guys" book. I'm still wondering what happened to the two trucks that got away. I liked this better than Clancey's submarine stories as the scenes are more authentic and complete in detail. I almost got sea sick reading of the influence of heavy seas upon the men. Sure would make a great movie! I'm looking forward to the next book.

Summary: All The Action One Book Can Handle
Review: Final Bearing, by George Wallace and Don Keith, truly is a rip-snorter! The authors packed a lot of exciting action into every page. Combining submarines and other craft with spies, drugs, and jungle warfare was a potent formula mixed up with a great air of authenticity. I hope it sells well, and I can hardly wait for the movie. But the book jacket needs a government warning: "Do not read this book if you have heart trouble!" Frank S. Virden, Captain, USN (Ret.)

Summary: Submarine memories
Review: I am a retired Navy Submariner who now lives in New York. It was exciting to read about so many instances and details that had the realism only a fellow submariner could express, even down to the mannerisms and lingo. It is also apparent that the author has been to the places cited in the book. Once again, having been to the Puget Sound and San Diego, it brought back memories. The combination of submarine realism, location facts, and the weaving back and forth of the story line between different scenes and settings kept my interest, and kept me wanting to read more. Great book for a relaxing yet interesting read.

Summary: High expectations met
Review: I don't usually take the time to write about the books I read for pleasure, but this one got to me in a unique way. I really felt I was there, every step of the way on an adventure that surprised and thrilled me. The authors succeeded in hooking me in from the very first, then keeping my attention for the entire book, quite an accomplishment because I'm a very demanding reader of fiction. Congrats to Messers. Wallace and Keith, and I hope they write more together.

Summary: Great ride!
Review: If you like books in the Tom Clancy vein, this one's for you.

Very atmospheric descriptions of the working conditions and dangers inherent in operating a nuclear-powered submarine.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Action packed !
Review: Loved the details of submarine life and also work done by the Seals. You could see and smell the submarine in this book. I would love to hear more about submarines and what the U.S. is doing with it's current fleet of boats.

I don't think I have ever read a book that includes so many different aspects of intrigue and action taking place around the world.

Hope this duo writes another.
