Summary: Good read...
Review: Hollywood's latest drama takes place in a courtroom, and leading lady Toni Cavender may be the heroine or the villain, depending on how the jury rules. Even when the verdict is not guilty, the star's light is dimmed by the scandalous accusation of killing her porn producing "lover". She flees, seeking refuge, but finding only her haunted past. Life gets even more complex when Damon Bradley is hired to find the Toni's long lost daughter, who is somehow part of the murder case. A mystery spanning three generations comes down to a heart stopping standoff as old secrets rear ugly heads.

**** Ms. Rogers moves into a relatively new area for her with a spicy and complicated mystery. Toni emerges as a strong, troubled, and even noble heroine who brings redemption to all she loves. The plot moves rapidly, not dragging at all. ****

Summary: romantic private detective tale
Review: The jury declared Hollywood actress Toni Cavender not guilty of the murder of porno film producer Robert Jameson. However, led by the media, the public believes Toni got away with a lover's spat homicide. Worrying about her missing daughter Maren and needing to escape the cage that she finds herself in, Toni reluctantly heads home seeking solace though her childhood memories are not the fondest.

Toni hires private detective Damon Bradley to find Maren who she believes is in trouble. Meanwhile someone tries to kill Toni and comes close in succeeding in their endeavor. Damon realizes that he must uncover the identity of who is trying to destroy Toni, but though he is in love with the real persona and not the film star, he knows she trusts no one not even the detective she hired and loves too.

The two mysteries cleverly intertwine into a romantic private detective tale that fans will enjoy from the moment Toni hears the not guilty verdict until the final confrontation. Fans will keep reading as they want to know the motive of the culprit as much as the identity of the perpetrator. The romance is not neglected as Damon willingly risks his life to keep his beloved safe although he has little hope for the future with her because even with her returning his feelings and obviously feeling safe in his arms Toni trusts no one not even him. Her attitude makes MORE THAN YOU KNOW a wonderful romantic suspense thriller.
