Rating: Summary: Wait for the sequel or the movie. Review: A fun, light read. No surprises; done before and better. Visual and effects oriented more than plot driven. Liked the strange fog. Read like a screenplay adaptation and would work better on the SciFi channel or in theaters as a 90 minute action flick. Will not stretch your mind or explain the mysteries of the world to your satisfaction.
Rating: Summary: returned after 2 chapters Review: this is a simplistic unintelligent book-like lets not cross the river i have a bad feeling but they cross and you know what happens ,machines come from nowhwhere and chew them up -also -HOW LOW can you go-the comment on the front of the book is from robert dougherty-thats the same person as the author of this book-written under a another name-he praises his own book-how low
Rating: Summary: This book is excellent Review: This is one of the best sci-fi books I have read. It is written is such a way, with historical references, that you question what to believe. I did think the ending was a little abrupt but it didn't take away from the over all excitment of this book.
Rating: Summary: A real nail-biter! Review: You won't want to start reading this one unless you can do it in one sitting. The plot line is a very novel but plausible idea. Mr. Donegan also left the door open for a sequel.
Rating: Summary: This is the best science fiction ive ever read! Review: This book has many sub plots. Its a real page turner. Your always on the edge of your seat. Youll really get into this book.
Rating: Summary: Excellent page turner that mesmerized me. Review: I'm not much for historical fiction or sci-fi, so I hesitated before plunking down a five-spot for this book. Foolish me. I don't know who Greg Donegan is or where he is from, or even if this book ever came out in hard back, but it certainly deserves more acclaim than it's apparently gotten. If you believe or are willing to consider the possibility that there is much more "out there" than is dreamt of in our philosophies, suspend your disbelief for a few hours and plunge into Atlantis. Donegan weaves just enough real life references into his work to make you review what you know about satellites and resolve to read the news more carefully. A sequel? We can only hope. A movie would be even better. Much more enjoyable than 9/10s of the books I've devoured so far in this hot summer. Thank you, Greg Donegan, wherever you are. Keep 'em coming.
Rating: Summary: It is packed full of mystery and intrigue!! Review: Greg Donegan did an excellent job in writing this book. I was hooked by just reading the summary on the back. It has the most of what I like: mystery, intrigue, and suspense. Also how he tied the age old mystery of "Atlantis" and "The Bermuda Triangle" was well written. The plot had a great flow and rappid pace. From start to finish I found it irresistable to put down. A real by the edge of your seat adventure. I have read the Area 51 series and this series (if it has more than a part two) will give it a good run for its money!! I am anxious for the sequels.
Rating: Summary: Take a mixing bowl and throw in all the good things. Review: Take a mixing bowl and throw in all of the good things many of us love to read. Add some well aged mysteries, stir in some newly milled and believable explanations for the present, add a dash of interest for the future, and fold in a generous amount of suspense so that its flavor will permeate every morsel of this delicious book. I could not put it down. Well written, well told, and thought provoking when the final page has been turned. The most enjoyable day of escapism I have had for a long time. Don't plan on doing anything once you have read the first page.
Rating: Summary: A book that takes you by surprise!! Review: I was fascinated by the way Greg Donegan was able to twist the myths and legends of the Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis. This is a definite read and I would recommend it to anyone. The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was now I have to wait until the next one. Great book Mr. Donegan.
Rating: Summary: A must-read science-fiction book!! Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read! I've always been interested in thing like Atlantis and the Bermuda Triangle, and this author makes a really cool combination of the two, and adds a perfect blend of mystery, suspence, and action/adventure into all of it, making it delicious to your mind and imagination.
