Summary: An exciting and entertaining book
Review: My name is Sara and I am 15 years old. I have read 5 of Mary Higgins Clark's books. This one is one of my favorites. It is a fun book to curl up with and be absorbed by the storyline and the characters involved. I think that Mary Higgins Clark has a great writing talent and it shows through on this book.

Summary: Classic Clark
Review: Here's how good this book is. I intended to just read a few chapters the other day, but ended up finishing the entire book in one night! It's a gripping well-told suspense story.

The main plot revolves around Jenny, a single mother of two, who enters a whirlwind romance with Erich Kruger, an artist, and ends up moving into his home with her children. But then Erich starts become more posessive and she notices his odd fixation on his mother, who died in an accident (or was it??).

Sure there was some deja vu for me in this book that made me immediately think of movies and books that have used similar plot twists (I won't say which or else it'll spoil the ending). But still this is a great book, but don't intend on putting it down once you start!

Summary: Another interesting story by Clark
Review: I thought this was a good book. Although it started off slow, as you get toward the end it gets very exciting. It makes you just not want to put the book down. I thought that Clark did a good job in leaving the endings of the chapters with good suspense. I found myself keep wanting to read on to find out what happens next. I enjoyed the many things going on throughout the book, and not being able to know who is telling the truth. Where sometimes you would want to believe Jenny, but also Erich had some good arguments. From the events of adoption, to Kevin's death, just made you so thrilled to keep the book in your hands to know what happens. I thought that the last few chapters were probably the best. They were filled with a lot of action, many things occurring, and left you with lots of suspense. In my opinion this book is for mainly people over the age of 13. You have to be pretty mature to read it. It wouldn't really be a book for younger children, because they wouldn't understand some of the things occurring throughout the book. In conclusion, I thought it was a good book. It could have used more suspense and action early on in it to make it more interesting to begin with. Though in the end of the book Clark had very good suspense and a lot of action. I liked the good words that Clark used. They made the book fit together better. I would recommend this book to my friends and any other people I know, a long with many of Clark's other books. Although I don't think I would recommend it to younger kids. Overall it kept good suspense to make you keep reading. The book had a good use of words and was put together as well. So my final opinion on "A Cry in the Night", written by Mary Higgins Clark, would be very good suspense and interesting.

Review: Jenny McP is caught in on of those Hitchcock situtaions. Where no one believes her when she says she sees her dead mother in law skulking about the huge farmhouse that she lives in with her famous painter husband and her two children by her first marriage.

They all have their suspicions about the pretty lady from New York when her shifty ex mysteriously vanishes and even worse odd things start happening around the farm. Summary: Clark's best
Review: I usually have slighty a hard time getting through Clark's books, but this one, on the other hand, I flew right through. I wanted to jump throught the book and kill Jenny's husband myself, he was such a freak! I hope I find another Higgin Clark book that's like this one!
