Rating: Summary: excellent! Review: This is author's first book I read and since than I love all Mary's novels. She is great.
Rating: Summary: The suspense catches you at a very inopportune time. Review: A Cry in the Night was the first book I had ever read written by Mary Higgins Clark. I read almost every one of them after that. This book ahould not be read at night, or while alone.
Rating: Summary: This book was great, and impossible to put down! Review: This book is about a beautiful divorced mother, who meets a handsom rich man. This man totally adores her right from the start, and they are soon married. Yet as their marriage progresses she is accused of doing things so can't remember. This theartens her marriage and her very own life. She must figure out a way to save her and her chrildren, before it is too late.
Rating: Summary: Clark's best!!! Review: This was the first Mary Higgins Clark book I ever read, and I can't put any other books down after reading this one! The storyline portrays Eric as Prince Charming, but Clark's skill changes this view in a subtle but powerful course if events. This is the most awesome book I have ever read, and it can be enjoyed y people of all ages!
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT!!! Best M.H.C. book I ever read!!! Review: This book gave me chills in the middle of Summer!! Eric comes on so sweet and loving. But you feel almost from the beginning that something is just not quite what it appears to be. As the story progresses, you are pulled into Jenny's fear of going slightly crazy and feeling like the "odd person out". However, the strength and courage she regains when her children disappear makes your heart pound with excitement. I found myself wanting to jump into the book to help her. Mary Higgins Clark out-did herself in this one. If you read only one of her books -- YOU MUST READ THIS ONE!!!
Rating: Summary: A great book of many by Mary Higgins Clark Review: This book was great. I practically read the entire book in one day. This book captures you as you are reading it and you can't wait to see what is going to happen next. I think this is one of her best books that she has written.
Rating: Summary: A Fairy Tale, Or Your Worst Nightmare? Review: Imagine you are a woman supporting a child on your own in a poor apartment serving warmed up leftovers, then suddenly you are whisked away to a fairy tale land where you are loved and adored by a man you hardly know. That's how it starts out for one lucky lady, then she finds out that her loving husband is bent on his mother's death-and she is the spitting image! Suddenly she is caught up in a madman's world, where his paintings hold a terrifying truth and she is the target of his revenge. The faster she uncovers secrets, the faster time seems to run out until the very end, where you are left at the edge of your seat. Once you read this book you will be, as I was, hooked on reading all of Mary Higgins Clark's skillfully written books.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book, I have ever read!!! Review: I love Mary Higgins Clark and this is the book that got me hooked. I live in Iceland and I have nothing to do but read, so I picked this book up from a friend. I was instantly attached and couldn't put it down. After that I read all of her books and I love them all!! The best author is Mary Higgins Clark
Rating: Summary: Holds you spellbound, from beginning-to-end! Review: I just finished reading this book for the first
time and it is so good I'd read it over and over
again. While reading it I felt like I was there,
I couldn't leave or put the book down. I recommend reading this one, it's excellant!!!
Rating: Summary: Jenny discovers her prince charming, is not who she thought. Review: Jenny, being a single mom, gets whisked away by a very handsome gentleman. Their rush romance gives Jenny no chance to get know "Mr. Perfect". Later discovering she is more of a toad, than a prince. I personally liked this book alot. The individual reader gets caught up in the possible chance of a romance, an individual can't help but get involved with the romance. Little by little, he is not who she thought he was. Anijanette K
