Summary: a good read
Review: This is a book that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys mysteries. It is packed full of thrills, twists, and regular human life, in that the heroes and felons are portrayed as to how real live people lives, how they feel mentally and physically,no one is perfect. It is action packed and enthralling.

Summary: Cold Case
Review: This started out good and moved along pretty quickly. The review by Kirkus says that there were oddball and quirky characters who couldn't put their past behind them. I don't think the characters were developed enough to support that, though. The author didn't give them that depth. However, the book failed dismally at the end. It was like someone yelled "Go" and all of the characters started confessing. I still can't figure out how smart people followed the bad guys into the night and why the author would think they would have done that. And what's with the unknown car at the neighbor's house? Lots of mention but no explanation. A disappointing read.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This was my first Stephen White book. It won't be the last. I can't think of a negative comment, so will just give it a 5.0, and order some more of his books.

Summary: Not who done it, but why?
Review: White's latest book is a classic mystery. Alan and Lauren are invited to join an elite group of forensic specialists to solve a crime committed 10 years ago. Two girls were murdered, and a perp was never arrested. As the elite group swings into action and Alan starts poking his nose into the life of a congressman, Alan's life is put in jeopardy. A handful of bad guys emerge early on in the book as possible perps, but the bigger mystery is not who, which is somewhat obvious, but why, and how. White also reintroduces us to A.J., the ex-FBI agent with MS. No fan of White's should miss this book.
