Rating: Summary: Poor Man's Kellerman Review: Sterotypical charachters, average plotting, nowhere near the talent of Jonathan Kellerman. White seems intent on demonizing conservatives rather than concentrating on character development. If you're into psychologists who solve murder mysteries, buy Kellerman instead.

Rating: Summary: touchy, feely Review: the narrator of this series,dr.alan gregory,a clinical psychologist, seems to have an inexhaustable supply of seriousness, sincerity and super-sensitivity. if kellerman's alex delaware is a 90's kind of guy, this shrink is a worthy, though overly caring, second fiddle.
Rating: Summary: Cold Case Leaves One Cold Review: The protagonists in this book, Cold Case, are not likeable people. They are an assistant DA and a psychologist, who hardly ever have to show up at their respective offices. They are elitist and snobbish to those who are not left liberals. I wouldn't want to consult with Alan Gregory, the psychologist. The plot is better than the characters, the cop-friend, Sam Purdy, is the most realistic character in the book. I have read several of Stephen White's books and like the others better than this one.
Rating: Summary: How to describe Stephen White? Review: The words "Great author" comes to mind. Master storyteller. Weaver of words. This is the first book I read by Mr. White and my only complaint is that I didn't read his Alan Gregory novels in the order they were written. "Cold Case" is a masterful story from beginning to end, detailing the investigation of two murders that are several years old. There are several twists in this story (one or two you can see coming, but what can you do?) I highly recommend this book, but I recommend it after having read the others in the series first!

Rating: Summary: Stereo typed characters and extremely shallow. Review: This author has a vendetta against anyone who is conversative or Republican. It is so obvious that it is disturbing throughout the entire book. This guy needs to get over his hatred.

Rating: Summary: GACK Review: This book was awful...narrative details that went nowhere, slowwwwwwwly developing plot, uninteresting characters. I can't believe this is the author's eight book. Maybe others were better, but this one stinks
Rating: Summary: Why does he insult the reader so blatantly? Review: This is a book that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys mysteries. It is packed full of thrills, twists, and regular human life, in that the heroes and felons are portrayed as to how real live people lives, how they feel mentally and physically,no one is perfect. It is action packed and enthralling.
