Review: Why have I never heard of this author before...I am reading the series backwards; first found When Black is Red and then read the two previous ones. The cultural background is fascinating, and the characters are appealing, especially Yu and his wife. I never try to figure out "whodunnit", just go with the flow of a GREAT story. Enjoy!
