Summary: Not Quite Her Best
Review: I love Carlene Thompson's books but this one was not her best. It was very entertaining, like always, but I was actually able to figure this one out and that is highly unusual. I found it to be rather silly at the end and very lame. Sorry but true. In the midst of this book I read another book and I guess that says it all. I would not normally do that with one of Ms. Thompson's books.

Summary: Better sleep with the lights on!
Review: I've been hooked on Carlene Thompson ever since I read In the Event of my Death. Ms. Thompson has a knack for writing the perfect suspense/mystery books without a lot of voilence in them.

Deborah Robinson seems to have the perfect life, a wonderful husband, Steve and adorable twins, it's Christmas time, what could be better? Until her husband disappears one day, after he's been acting strange all week. At the same time a serial killer is brutally killing women, it couldn't be Steve, could it? Deborah's seeks help from her friends and soon discovers strange things begin to happen to her. Someone is watching her family's house, calling in the middle of the night, breaking and entering, Deborah knows she must find out the truth about her husband before it's too late.

I loved this book because everyone looks guilty and you'll never figure out who the real killer is. The ending is so suspenseful, I got goose bumps while reading it. Ms. Thompson has crafted a wonderful story full of twists and turns and surprises. I highly recommend this book, but don't read it just before bed time. You'll be too scared to sleep!

Summary: A Great Book
Review: Kudos to Carlene Thompson for a great book. The Way You Look Tonight has enough suspects, red herrings, twists and turns to keep mystery lovers guessing. The ending which reads like a made for tv movie is the only drawback to the book.

Summary: Awsome Writer
Review: The first book I read of Carlene Thompson was "The Way You Look Tonight" and I was immediately hooked, I went to a used bookstore to find a couple of her books that were out of print and bought all the rest new. I am waiting for her next one. Her books are the only one's I have to pre-order. The only problem I have with her books is I loose a lot of sleep (I cannot put them down once I start).
