Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Another great job Review: Tami Hoag keeps me coming back for more of her suspenseful page turners! This book is excellent! I love the strong heroines in her stories! Girl power!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Excellent and SCARY Review: This was the first book of Tami Hoag's I'd read, and she immediately became one of my favorite authors. I loved her depiction of life as an ADA, of the claustrophibic arena of a small town preyed upon by the rabid press. Again, the dance between the two lead characters was enthralling and "tingly"--that's the best word I can use to describe it. There's something beautifully realistic in the lovely portrait of a romance she paints. On the darker side, this book was downright scary; I had to double check the locks every night. Many lights stay on in the house now, because you never know... The element I found most disturbing was that the key victims were children. Ms. Hoag's handling of the subject is very sensitive, very conscientious, and in no way exploitive, and the story rattles to the core. Thrilling.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: I wish I had known Review: I really enjoyed this book but I agree that some expansion could have been done regarding the "kidnappers" and what led them to their crime. My main complaint is that I had picked up both Guilty as Sin and Night Sins and had no idea Guilty as Sin was the sequel and read it first. There was no indication of that anywhere in the book. Should have visited amazon.com first!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderfully written and an intense page turner! Review: This book was amazing! When I read Tami Hoag's novels it is as if I'm watching a movie. She is a wonderful writer and it was nice to see a continuation of Night Sins. I only have one more Tami Hoag novel to read. What do I do after that? Write another one soon Tami!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The book was wonderful . Review: I really enjoyed this book . I was expecting it to be second rate compared with "Night Sins" , but it was the exact opposite . The story grabs you from the beginning . The kidnapping teamed with the romance between attorney Ellen North and rogue journalist Jay Butler Brooks is intriguing and sexy . Anyone who enjoys a thriller with a dash of romance will love this book .
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: What a sin ! Review: I have just finished reading this book and the preceeding "Night Sin". In both books there are so very many characters carrying around so very much emotional bagage. Maybe they should go to the nearest airport and lose it,
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Repetetive, boring and predictable. Review: Unfortuneately, I read this novel before Night Sins. Ms.Hoag, I feel, simply reused the same characters and the same plot. I feel like I should get my money back. It's a shame that a talented writer couldn't come up with a new story line.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: If you have read "Night Sins", do not read this. Review: "Night Sins" was my first exposure to Tami Hoag, which set my expectation level very high for every book of hers that I read after. The storyline and protagonist/antagonist intrigue will capture your attention, but only if you haven't read "Night Sins". If you are looking for a fairly well developed plot, a decent character description, this is for you. I highly recommend reading "Night Sins" instead of this one.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very good! Review: I really liked this book. A lot of suspense and not too much mushy romance. All in all, it was pretty evened out and everything! Good job!!!
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Well paced, but predictable Review: Are you one of those readers who hates pesky surprises in their crime thrillers? Then this book is for you. Beautiful, single, dedicated-to-justice lawyer (of course) battles against her undeniable sexual attraction to ruggedly handsome writer (of course) while also having to face off with slick defense attorney who is also her ex-lover (of course). Not even mentioning suffering from frightening threats to her life (of course) by a sick, mysterious but ingenious criminal (of course) that you can spot as the one who did it when the character is first mentioned at the beginning of the book (of course). But in defense, it's a readable book that will occupy your time while you wait for the bus.
