Review: I loved it. The very first Tami Hoag book I ever read and I damn loved it. She has a way of trapping people's attention with her words, her breathtaking descritptions and incredible characters. I couldn't stop reading it!

Review: This book was awesome! Tami is so descriptive and just paints the pictures of all the characters and their predicaments in your head. I felt like I was watching a movie! The action, suspense, passion, and adventures all combined together to make one helluva great story with a killer climax that makes you want more! I'm definitely reading as many Tami Hoag books as I can get my hands on.

Summary: Would make a great movie!
Review: I sometimes read as many as three books a week and often forget all about one as I start the next. Not so with "Dark Paradise"! From the beginning I cast Sam Elliott as JD and someone like, Sandra Bullock as Marilee. It was as if I were watching a movie instead of reading a book. This is something that has stayed with me for a couple of years, no matter what or who I've read. Wish I knew a producer personally (or how to contact Tami Hoag) so I could suggest they make a movie from this book. I checked the names of authors on the Bantam list but didn't see hers.

Review: Tami Hoag takes herself way too seriously as an author--her descriptions are over-the-top, the characters she attempted to make complex were merely annoying, and the use of similies was ridiculous. This book was a waste of time!

Review: Tami Hoag surely knows how to combine romance & suspence and I really like Mari's character.I just can't wait to read another one of her novels after this one.

Summary: Good read, but there are some MAJOR probelms
Review: I am almost embarassed to admit that I enjoyed reading this book. It's a good plot, keeps you interested, but it has some BIG problems. Tami sends a very dangerous message with the relationship that she presents between Marilee and JD. Throughout the entire beginning of the book, JD does things that could definitely be defined as sexual harassment, and Marilee just becomes increasingly attracted to him. The trashy romance feeling is prevalent, and that's ok, but it makes me nervous that Hoag implies that women want to be treated the way JD treats Marilee. And even if Mari shows indignation towards him at times, she does end up sleeping with him. This is not the kind of reward he should get for his chauvinistic and sometimes sadistic behavior. Tami, don't perpetuate those age old stereotypes about women-that when they say no, they really mean yes. I don't think I would read any of her other books after this one.

Review: I have read many of Tami Hoag's books and I must say I am addicted. I now have family members reading her great works too. I have never found a writer who kept my attention as Tami does.

Review: This is the first book I have read by Tami Hoag and I am extremely impressed with her writing and plan to read many more of her works. The book literally kept me up past bed time reading. I felt as though I myself was in Montana. A great combination of romance and suspense kept me turning the pages!!

Review: This is the only book by Tami Hoag that I have read but , now I want to read more books by Tami Hoag.I love suspence/ thriller books but, I thought that the mix of romance with Marilee and J.D. was just perfect. Her discription of Montana makes me want to go there . It was a great book from the beginning ,to finding out who dun it until the end. I would also like to here more about J.D and Marilee along with the whole gang in New Eden , Montana.
