Summary: Great!
Review: But not as great as The Eight. But then, nothing can be. This is a must-read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best Caper Ever Written!
Review: Caper novels aren't usually exactly fuel for intellectual heavyweights, which is why after reading Katherine Neville's brilliant premiere novel, The Eight, I was surprised she would try her hand at something as fluffy as a caper. Having devoured A Calculated Risk in one cross-country plane trip, I now believe this woman can write anything and give it a whole new twist. Bravo, Katherine. We're all rooting for your next one!

Summary: The last one
Review: Definitely the las book of Katherine Neville, first of all let me tell you that if you decide to read this book, the story that is written in the beginning of every part of the years 1800, just skip it, don't worth it your time.
The second point that is at the very beginning of the book is that when you are going to find a new job, please don't tell me that your future boss will call to your actual job to ask about you, is obvious that your actual boos won't say anything good about you.
The third point is that the book has nothing, two people are trying to rob a bank using the computers and some hackers, but definitely Katherine didn't know how to write it or how to explain it, I put two stars because my mind didn't let me put one.

Summary: A Good-Read :)
Review: First off, it's not as good as The Eight (which is still one of my most favorite books!). But, it was pretty good, a good novel to read now and then. It's not that exciting and I was pretty disappointed by the ending, which wasn't as exciting as I'd thought. But, there are many exciting parts about the the intriguing world of banking which was very interesting! The ONLY reasons WHY this is not as good as the The Eight was 1) lack of complex plot, 2) lack of in-depth characters. Other than that, this is a okay compared to other novels! I mean, Katherine Neville really knows alot about banking, which provides this novel with plenty of accurate info on the subject.

Summary: Fast, furious, and funny!
Review: For those who love a light-hearted romp through what is oft-times a pretty boring industry (you guessed it! I'm a computer banker!) I would have to say that this is the funniest, fastest paced book available. Not to mention that the last half dozen international banking scandals we've experienced have been described to a "T" in the pages of A Calculated Risk! Check it out.

Summary: Like this? Read THE EIGHT!
Review: Good read -- lots of finance, high tech. If you liked this, please do yourself a huge favor and read Ms. Neville's first novel, THE EIGHT. You will not regret it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Chess is great
Review: I am a chess nut, and the chess in this book is even better than that in the author's other chess book, The Eight, even though the plot does not revolve around it here. The story is fast-paced and lively, and leaves nothing to be desired.

Summary: Blockbuster of our Times!
Review: I am surprised that this is Neville's one book that seems to have few reviews. Yet it was lauded by the NY Times as Wave after Wave of Excitement! I found it perhaps her most engaging book and I've read them all. Not to mention that the love scenes are truly steamy.
