Summary: Truly excellent! The American Revolution all over again
Review: I first read this book from the library. When I went back 2 years later to re-read it and found they no longer had a copy, I immediately bought my own copy. Just as the response of our Forefathers was to to fight a tyrannical government, this book shows what could very likely happen should everyday citizens get fed up with the excesses of Big Government in the 20th century. While the book does suffer somewhat from less than top-notch editing, it is still well worth reading for anyone concerned with government intrusion into the lives of the private citizens it is supposed to be supporting. For a first-time novelist, Mr Ross has done an outstanding job.

Summary: TOO LONG BY HALF, BUT A GOOD READ
Review: THIS STUFF NEEDS TO BE SAID AND READ. IF FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THE ESTABLISHMENT MEDIA DOESN'T WANT YOU TO READ IT YOU SHOULD.

Summary: If you are interesetd in America's future, this is a must
Review: The book is about "gun culture". It is based on real facts of US history and legislature. It starts slowly and describes real tragedies which did happened in America in 20th century in the past. And then it comes to the "present day" and ... I'm not going to spoil your pleasure and tell you, but at this point it reads like a thriller. I was not able to put it down for two days and nights.

If you are interested in US history, gun control, freedoms and future of this country, this is a must.

Summary: America wake up and read your Bill of Rights.
Review: This book is excellent and is a MUST read for all freedom loving individuals. It is truly a wake up call to the loss of our rights as American citizens. I have told many of my friends and readers on my political list to READ this book. It tells about gun issues and more. We need more of Henry the hero in REAL LIFE. We need to get Big Brother OUT of our lives and get back to the basics. Thank you. Catherine Frances *** Libertarian Pemberville, Ohio 43450-0645 acadianp@luckey.net acadianp@wcnet.org

Summary: Disturbing, Alarming... A must read
Review: I put this fiction book on my shelf next to Ayn Rand, Henry Miller, and other commentaries on how our system is corrupted. I was surprised at how well a first time novelist put everything together. A must for history buffs .

Summary: The most frightening book that I've read in years
Review: John Ross' "UC" kept me awake for a lot of nights-especially because so very much of it is true. His portrayal of the Holocaust and the Warsaw Resistance is especially disturbing, as it squares up almost perfectly with my family's oral history. This book belongs up there with _Schindler's List_ or _Uncle Tom's Cabin_ as a warning about the raw evil that accompanies power all too often.

Summary: The book is a loud wake up call.
Review: First I wish to say that the only book I have read that caused me to endure more emotional pain is THE DENIAL OF DEATH written by Ernest Becker 1973 THE FREE PRESS. Like Mr beckers' book, UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES has caused me to see things clearly that my mind, and that of most others, I believe, just didn't want to see. In the reading of this book in five days I have become very aware of the many freedoms I have lost and of the many times my government has let me down. The situation will not, I believe, improve until enough Americans who believe in freedom become active in slowing down and eventually turning around the freedom loosing situation we find ourselves living in now in this United States of America. I highly recomend this book to anyone with the stomach to face the political reality we live in.

Summary: Could not put it down.....
Review: Great history review.....it shows how we got to this point. Should be a "must" read for every freedom loving American, especially in light of the recent precedents set by the United States Senate.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must-read for those still believing in the Bill of Rights
Review: John Ross combines a brilliant patchwork of historical vignettes concerning the importance of firearms in a free society with a fast-paced, modern-day story line. The most pages I've read in the shortest amount of time since Trinity. Infused throughout the story is a disturbing commentary on the consistent erosion of our individual liberties. I'd love to see a sequel.

Summary: A must read for those who feel that "it" aint right....
Review: This must be read by those who feel that the "system" is getting out of hand. We are unaware of very gradual changes and what this book will do is to alert you to the magnitude of change that has happened to the laws that now prevail and the power now vested in the various arms of the government. As a non US citizen I was alarmed at the extent of power given to departments whose role is tax gathering.......even more alrmed when I saw the budget for firearms that was approved for the tax department........
