Summary: A masterpiece
Review: This book is a blessed work of art. I have never read anything that put so much information about guns, technical and historical, as well as the history and danger of gun-control laws, into one package that was so non-boring to read. It is in the same class with the classics by Frederick Forsyth, Tom Clancy, Ken Follett, and William Diehl, in grabbing your attention and not letting go. On top of all that, it has an emotionally satisfying ending. (Not something I can say for every novel I have ever read.) Don't be surprised if you see a bumper sticker on my car that says "Henry Bowman For President."

Summary: Profound and Stimulating
Review: Explodes with the possibility of what can happen to any law abiding citizen when we legistlate away our rights and the goverment decides to come after us.

Summary: wish it were purely fiction!
Review: I wonder what the families of the Littleton Colorado massacre would say of MR. Ross's book. Is the right to own guns "God given", I think not. Jesus didn't walk the planet with a gun, nor do we need to. I do not want to take away the rights of the gun owners, however, I am scared to be at the mall or other crowed place now, for fear that a trouble person, who happens to have access to a law abiding persons guns has chosen to go on a killing spree! Isn't it time that we put our personal rights aside for the good of all men. Mr. Ross's book couldn't be any better written. IT is a good book, however, I sincerely wish it were science fiction than prophetic!

Summary: Really fantastic book, quite engrossing
Review: This book is really a great read! It is long, so big that it is a little intimidating at first, but it really draws you in! It is hard to put down. This is one that you will want to show your friends and will urge them to read!

Summary: The Price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance!
Review: This is a GREAT book. A must read for every American. I'm going to send copies to my Representative and both Senators. It's about time we take back our God given right.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Engrossing all the way through!!
Review: Yeah its long. So what. It's a damn good read and if we as gunowners don't wake up and start taking action politically, we may lose our freedoms as the people in Australia and England have in the last few years. Then situations like the one described in the final section of the book might become a tragic necessity.

Summary: The greatest book I have ever read!
Review: Unintended Consequences is the most engrossing work of fiction since Atlas Shrugged. While the mainstream media refuses to recognize its existence despite its large sales volume, word of mouth is spreading fast. This book will go down as the pivotal work of fiction for generations to come. A must read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Outstanding...a "must read"
Review: I am currently in my third reading of this engrossing book. It not only has a critical message for all who understand and appreciate individual freedom, but has an outstanding story line as well. Informative and very entertaining.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Begs for a Sequel
Review: "Unintended Consequences" is a long, but fascinating book. Stayed up late to read it. Very technical in some parts, but you can skim those, if you wish.

An agreement is reached with the protagonist, Henry Bowman, but you just KNOW the opposition is going to renege. There are other parties who will want a say in the matter, and they will dither and obfuscate endlessly. Plus there are many other out-of-control government agencies yet remaining to be dealt with. The book is self-contained, but let's have a sequel.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thought-provoking
Review: If I may quote the author:

"Today in America, honest, successful, talented, productive, motivated people are once again being stripped of their freedom and dignity and having their noses rubbed in it. The conflict has been building for over half a century, and once again warning flags are frantically waving while the instigators rush headlong towards the abyss, and their doom.

It is my hope that these people will stop and reverse their course before they reach the point where such reversal is no longer possible." John Ross - September 1995

Now, three and one half years later, it seems this warning has been ignored. Law-abiding gun-owners continued to be villified by the media. Scores of gun ban bills are constantly introduced at all levels of government (and some always seem to make it into law) and now the attack is even being waged through the judicial system.

Read this book. It may turn out to be prophetic.
