Review: I loved Thief Of Hearts a book well worth reading for all mystery and romance readers. I can hardly wait for Ms. Murray's second book, Forbidden-- to come out later this year. All of my friends can't wait to buy the entire four book series... I'm courious why she didn't put all four books together? The waiting for my next visit to Lambert is KILLING ME!!! I'm hopelessly hooked on her colorful characters! This story would make a great movie or mini series I bet!

Review: Thief of Hearts by Victoria Murray, is an exciting soap opera...page turning romance, mystery and intrigue. The four book series opens with book-one "Thief of Hearts." I found the on going story (one week in the life of a young woman by the name of Nouri Sommers)a fun first visit to an island paradise known as Lambert. The characters are fun, the dialogue easy to follow, and the plot intriguing. I thought this writer did a nice job on her first novel, and I look forward to reading more of her Lambert series.

Summary: Even the Wealthy aren't Immune from Murder!
Review: Lambert is the Peyton Place of today. Stuff goes on there that would get a good girl in big trouble. Wait, there are no good girls there, but who cares. Who wants to be a good girl anyway. Let me tell you it was fun, fun, fun reading about how the rich and famous, or infamous if the word fits, carry on. However, like us mere mortals, they are not immune to murder.This is a book full of intrigue, lust, dissapointment, highs and lows. Nouri Summers, our heroine, is married to the fabulously wealthy Ethan Summers, but good ol' Ethan isn't keeping his wife happy and Nouri isn't happy about writing about her woes, when she'd rather be living her dream. There are other suiters out there, lovers from her past. Then one of their wives is murdered. Yes, the rich murder each other too. In fact there is more than one murder in this fun filled read that will have you up the whole night through.

Review: Poor Nouri Sommers! What a jerk she has unknowingly married. I instantly connected with Nouri Sommers (the heroine of this fun adult series), I found Nouri someone I wanted to care about and get to know a lot more about. I enjoyed my first visit to the island paradise of Lambert and now look forward to a return visit in the second story of the Lambert series.

Review: MY life is one of constant rush, rush, rush! And, when I finally get a few moments to myself to relax, I search for the perfect book to sweep me away from my 'real' world. Let me tell you, "Thief of Hearts" by Victoria Murray, provided me with the perfect escape! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Being a person that has such a busy life I am in constant search for just the right book to make me forget for awhile, all I can say is I can hardly wait for book two of The Lambert Series! If you are into reading for the same reason as I do then this book is the perfect book for you, but if you are into more real life type reads, this book may not be for you. Like I said, I read for fun and to escape. I could care less about the even flow on a grouping of words, dotted i's or crossed t's...I get enough of that B.S. in the real world, don't need it in my fantasy world...Give me fun characters, easy to relate to dialogue, and a great plot and I am a happy reader!

Review: I absolutely love this series. The story, the characters, the locale, the love scenes, the continuing mystery - all are just fabulous. From "Thief of Hearts", book one, to "Le Fin", the fourth and final installment, Ms. Murray keeps her readers entertained and engrossed. Characters come and go, the mystery deepens, and Nouri finally meets the man of her dreams. But will things work out for her? I'm not telling. Put away those boring books and pick up The Lambert series and have some fun!

Review: I enjoy getting lost inside the world of a great adult fantasty like Thief of Hearts. Nouri Sommers, Clint Chamberlain, Ethan Sommers, Charles Mason, Becka Chamberlain and Mai Li are only a few of the fun characters the reader is introduced in the first book of the Lambert series by Victoria Murray. I can hardly wait for the next book to arrive so I can continue my journey to the isle resort of the rich, shameless, and famous. I'm having a blast!

Summary: Great way to step into someone elses shoes...
Review: Books like THIEF OF HEARTS, FORBIDDEN, FRIENDLY ENEMIES, and LE FIN (The Lambert Series), is a great way to step into someone elses shoes for a short time. I realize places like Lambert aren't real but it is as close as I personally get to a wealthy resort isle like Lambert. I had a terrific time walking in Nouri's shoes and only wish my life could be as exciting. I cannot wait to see what this fun writer will deliver to her many loyal fans in her next romantic suspense series.

Summary: Why the good reviews?????
Review: The very first paragraph contains a glaring typo: tailor-maid instead of tailor-made. Many words are spelled incorrectly over and over (fiance, for example, is not feiance or, in the case of a male, fiancee). Verb tenses change so often that it is rather unbelievable. There is no editing whatsoever.
I can forgive typos and spelling if the plot is good. However, the plot is predictable, the characters ridiculous and the dialogue is embarrassingly off base.
This is a painfully bad book. I am not exaggerating.
