Summary: Great Start To New Series"
Review: I found book-one of Ms. Murray's Lambert series, "Thief of Hearts," a great start to what appears to be a winning series. The characters are wild and mysterious and the plot exciting and before I knew what hit me, I was pulled right into the scheme of things. I just received book-two of this series and can hardly wait to start it, I'm that excited.

Summary: Superb Plot Writer
Review: This book is not an example of "literary fiction", but it is an excellent example of original first-rate escapist "commercial fiction" at its best. A delicious read. If you like a really good, fast-paced, unpredictable, well-devised, gripping, and easily readable story which has good plot twists, sexy seduction and a double-homicide to boot, this book is for you. I couldn't put it down and read it in one evening. I just had to know how the story would unravel. Many surprises. And I must say the sex scenes sizzled. The main characters were well-drawn and intriguing, doing and saying just what I would expect them to. These are people we only see on TV. And some of us dream we are them. Without wanting to give too much away, I like how Nouri's rich wicked husband's "hidden skeletons" come to light, and the events it puts in spin. This book has all the elements to appeal to both the "soaps" crowd AND to readers of mystery, suspense, and general fiction. Nouri is a great character. I could see this book as a made-for-TV movie. When I read a novel, dialogue is my favorite thing, and the dialogue in this book hits the right notes and is a pleasure to read. I read somewhere that Murray's publisher will be re-editing her books to take out the typo's and other errors, so I hope her few harsh critics and denigrators will take solace in that at least! The vast majority of us just love her stories and want more!!

Summary: Ignore Those Bad Reviews
Review: I bought this book because there were so many good reviews intermingled with a few bad ones. The bad ones seemed personal in nature, so I chose to ignore them, unsure what the reviewer or reviewers intention was/were - and I say this because so many of these sound like they're written by the same person. Other than the fact that this book should have been edited in a better way by its publisher, I found it to be a great read. Written purely for entertainment, it serves its purpose well. If you like a mystery with hot romance, this book's for you. The fact that it sells so well speaks highly for the content and the author.

Summary: "A stay at home and cozy up to a good book kind've read"
Review: I enjoy stories like Thief of Hearts. Easy reads that are fun, entertaining, and keep me excitedly turning the pages. Thief of Hearts did exactly that. A person that enjoys staying home every now and again and starting a new book, I found this novel to be the perfect book for a relaxing night on the homefront. I have since read the second book of this writer's Lambert Series and found it to be equally as entertaining even though a longer read. Now, I look forward to the next book in the series. If you are a person that enjoys a decent romantic suspense I think you might find one a lot of fun. I certainly did.

Summary: Move Over Danielle Steele, Lori Forster, and Cherry Adair
Review: Finally, a romance/mystery writer that can write her butt off. This novel will keep you on the edge of your seating and leave you wanting more. Now with the 2nd installment "Forbidden" of this ten book series, I am in awe of what streams out of the pen of the magical author. Hold on world, because this lady really rocks! As Christy French wrote, "This writer possesses a wonderful descriptive talent." Hopefully there's a movie deal for her in the offing, even as I write. Because this book would make one hell of a movie!

Summary: Wonderful and sexy entertainment

Summary: An exciting soap opera...
Review: Thief of Hearts by Victoria Murray, is an exciting soap opera...page turning romance, mystery and intrigue. The four book series opens with book-one "Thief of Hearts." I found the on going story (one week in the life of a young woman by the name of Nouri Sommers)a fun first visit to an island paradise known as Lambert. The characters are fun, the dialogue easy to follow, and the plot intriguing. I thought this writer did a nice job on her first novel, and I look forward to reading more of her Lambert series.
