Review: I just finished reading the Lambert series to conclusion and I thought the overall plot of the four connecting books was even better than Dallas! Dallas was my all time favorite night time soap until after I had read Ms. Murray's Lambert Series! The characters were colorful indeed and I liked the bad guys as well as the good guys in this story... the bad guys maybe even more than the good guys. They were fun and very different. I will look for more books by Victoria Taylor Murray in the future. She has become a writer that I really enjoy.

Review: This is the first in the Lambert series by Victoria Taylor Murray and a must-read for any romance/mystery reader. Full of suspense, sizzling romance, twists and turns, and you won't want to put it down. As I stated in another review, this author is a mix between a more intelligent Danielle Steel and naughtier Mary Higgins Clark. Great style! Am anxiously awaiting the second in the series!

Review: Whenever I search Amazon for bestselling books of romantic suspense, this author dominates. I noticed she has published four books in her Lambert series, so ordered the first one. The fact that I've now ordered the next three proves how much I enjoyed "Thief of Hearts". What a fantastical way to spend the day - enjoying the escapades of the rich and beautiful Nouri. If you enjoyed those prime-time soaps like "Dynasty" and "Dallas", you'll love this series.

Review: Altho, not without a few editing mistakes in this book, I found the plot of this story a real attention getter. So much in fact, I couldn't put TOH down! I have since finished the Lambert series in its entirety and I just loved it! I think Ms. Murray is a diamond in the rough in the literary world. Her ability to build both suspense for the mystery lover as well as erotic sex scenes for the romantic in most readers is a gift. I will eagerly await Victoria's next novel to be released. Bravo Victoria!

Review: Page-turning action, romance, secrets, and skeletons, begin to come alive as the first of a four book series begins to unfold in Thief of Hearts by Victoria T. Murray -- Murray does a nice job in her first attempt of writing a novel. Her chosen heroine (Nouri Sommers) is a character that most people will fall in love with. I didn't see Nouri as a victim. I saw her as a today's kind've gal...a young woman that is, soft, yet smart, and very loving. Sadly, she married a man on impulse, and now two years into her lonely marriage she finds herself beginning to question her marriage...a marriage that was built on lies, secrets, and cover ups, to a man that she suddenly realizes she apparently knows next to nothing about, but before the end of the introduction book to the Lambert Series draws to a close, Nouri calls on a man from her past to help her find out who the man that she married really is. I look forward to the next in this exciting series.

I've begun Victoria Taylor Murray's four-book LAMBERT series and I must admit that if Thief of Hearts is a clear indication of what remains to be read, then I see what everyone is talking about regarding Ms. Murray's formidable talent as a storyteller. What a colorfully rich imagination! The wide assortment of characters are fully enough to seduce even the most jaded reader already accustomed to scandalous behavior and human reprehensiveness. This is indeed splendid reading.
