Summary: Great Book
Review: I've never read a Tami Hoag book I didn't like. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Page turner! Great Mystery!
Review: This was the 3rd Hoag book I read and it was really great! There were a lot of characters in the story and when I started reading it I got sidetracked for awhile and didn't get to pick up the pace again for a few weeks. But once I started reading again and the killings were happening I was hooked! Yesterday I read it most of the day and last night I started reading it at 9 in bed and couldn't put it down till I finished it! It is gruesome at times, but this could happen in real life. Scary, but true. I was shocked who the killer was as I was in Night Sins and Guilty as Sin---Those are great too! Enjoy!

Summary: Great read - love stuff too predictable
Review: It was very enjoyable and kept my interest to the end. I thought the affair between Kate and Mr. FBI was just thrown in there for those that like a love twist. You just knew they would somehow get together at the end.

Summary: Another Killer loose in MN - Watch out
Review: Another great thriller from Tami Hoag. This is the second story of hers that I have listened to and am again thrilled I have.

In this story the dynamic duo Liska and Kovak are again on the trail of a killer but they are secondary characters in this one. This story centers on Kate Conlan and FBI agent from her past. They are both trying to help find the serial killer the "Cremator" who has drawn Kate into the story even though she doesn't usually act as an advocate for kids. But, things go many different ways with this story. I have to admit that I didn't completely know who did it until the very end. I recommend this story!

Summary: Got me started on Tami Hoag
Review: This was the first book I read by this author and now I'm addicted. Her style of writing is fast paced and entertaining.

Suspense that makes you want to stay up all night..............

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Dark Topic but well Written
Review: There is a serial killer on the loose and the killer is brutal in the way that he is killing the victims and his signature is that he sets them on fire in a public location. With plenty of front burner characters (Sam Kovac, Kate the witness advocate and John Quinn the FBI behavioral Science man) a man hunt is set for catching the murder before he kills again.

This story has mystery, suspense, a little romance, and plenty of graphic details especially during autopsies but I feel that it will keep you turning the pages. I must admit to some confusion at the end when all of the ends were being tied up due to so many twists and turns the story takes but I slowed down and re-read a paragraph here and there and voila. Still I was surprised by who the bad guy was. Don't miss this book.

Summary: FIVE STARS
Review: Ashes to Ashes was a phenom book! I found myself enthralled with the storyline, which is quite gruesome, and the characters who are intelligent and interesting. The author has a wonderful talent of using words to paint a picture of a character. They are so clear in your mind, it is seems as if your watching a movie in a theater. This was the first Tami Hoag I bought. The minute I finished it, I bought the rest of her catalog.

Summary: Great mystery!
Review: This book is the prequil to Dust to Dust, which I also loved. Excellent writing and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I recommend both this and Dust to Dust by Tami Hoag.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A very hot story
Review: This is a lengthy "whodunit" in almost Agatha Christie style, forcing the reader to judge all the characters, weigh up the options and assess who the possible murderer may be, all the way through the book. It is a story that keeps you on your toes and guessing from start to finish. The book is best read quickly as it does introduce a great number of characters, most of whom could be the perpetrator if you really think about it. Some of the characters only make brief guest appearances before virtually vanishing from the novel then mysteriously reappearing as briefly as before. This is otherwise an intelligently written, clever, murder-suspense mystery in which Tami Hoag allows the reader to settle back and relax in a false sense of security before another attack shakes you to your boots forcing you to reach for a soothing whisky.

Our heroine, advocate Kate Conlan, battles throughout the story to get her single witness to the first cremation to open up and talk. Is she, the young witness, trying to hide something? Is she known to the murderer and under threat herself or is she battling severe psychological problems? It seems that only Kate has any chance of making headway with the reluctant witness but for each step forward she takes, other investigators achieve two back in their own efforts to get inside the mind of the traumatised girl. Time is of the essence as the murder becomes the first in a chain of serial murders, each body being cremated.

Romantic relief is introduced at an early stage in this novel as a former love of Kate is brought into town to give a high profile public face to the inquiry. However it is yet another challenge and diversion for Kate who has her hands full with the investigation. Between the murders and the ever present threat of further murders, the reluctant, unwilling and yet willing former partners are thrust together in a diverting sideline to the main story.

This is a thriller which will keep you guessing until the final chapter. It contains something for everyone: horror, violence, suspense, mystery, intrigue, politics and romance to name a few.

Summary: Ashes to Ashes
Review: All throughout time man has had some sort of an evil side. The side that many do not show. A serial killer is one of the many that have an evil side, but they take it a few steps farther. They inflict pain on others as a sort of payback for things that have happened to them. They use certain symbols to put the kill into significance as a sort of signature. A ritual in a way.
The phrase 'ashes to ashes' is creepy in itself. If you're creeped out by that phrase you can just about imagine what the title of a book 'Ashes to Ashes' would do to you. The book 'Ashes to Ashes' is written by Tami Hoag. She's an author who has been said by the New York Times as a bestselling author because another book called 'A Thin Dark Line.'
'Ashes to Ashes' is the key phrase to the whole book. That phrase goes deeper than you would think. This book has many interesting and thought provoking twists and turns in woven into the characters. It's a book that features a serial killer named 'The Cremator' who is hunted down by a top FBI agent, John Quinn.
In the end you finally find out who the killer is, but I know for a fact that you will be creeped out, but also you'll be wanting more. You'll be drawn to the book. It gives the reader a kind of feeling which will make you not want to put it down. It's so interesting. I even learnt things by reading this book.
I recommend it to anyone that is mature enough, Preferably over the age of 16. It contains some adult content, which does help to get the story across. It's very thought provoking.
