Summary: Cookie-cutter, thy name is Mary Higgins Clark
Review: It is virtually assured that every novel MHC pumps out will become a bestseller and that is unfortunate for we readers, because she has ceased being "fresh" and "exciting" and has become tired and predictable. In "Moonlight Becomes You," (her worst to date, in my opinion) she attempts, as usual, to tie together several disparate storylines into one mega-conspiracy. While she has succeeded in doing so very well in her earlier novels, in "MBY" the story simply comes off forced and not all that interesting. Alternating between scenes of mind-numbing boredom, half-hearted romance and low-grade camp, the story arrives at its wholly predictable climax not a moment too soon. The book is even more disappointing in light of her earlier masterpieces. It's the last time I eagerly await MHC's newest, and the last time I plunk down $25 for a hardcover.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not one of Clark's more inspired books
Review: Moonlight Becomes You is not up to what I expect from Clark. Clark uses very short chapters and jumps from character to character. Rather than moving the story along quickly, this device makes it difficult to fully get into the story or to develop an understanding of the individual characters. The ending almost redeems the story's weak points, but leaves a major plot device totally, and disappointingly, unexplained. Still worth the time spent reading it, but not likely to keep you up at night

Summary: Not one of her best but good reading!
Review: I am a great fan of Mary Higgins Clark, have read every book she has written and tho I liked this book, I feel it is not one of her best. My favorite being 'Love's Music, Loves to Dance.' I hope she does not go the way of many great writers who, once reaching a certain peak, start going downhill by pushing out too many books too quickly

Summary: Good summer read.
Review: Typical MHC. Suspensful with enough mysterious characters to keep you wondering who is behind the unusual high number of deaths in Newport and to keep you hoping that Maggie will figure out the guilty party before it leads to her own death..

Summary: great book
Review: She keeps you guessing through the whole book You'll be surprised at the end. If you like mystery, you will like any of Mary Higgins Clark's books

Summary: One book I couldn't put down!
Review: This book has everything a dedicated reader could ever want in reading material. I like my books to have a touch of humor in them along with text that keeps you glued to it. I have a very tolerant boss who put up with my red rimmed eyes at work during the short time it took to go through this book. I will definately read it again and again! If you like suspense, romance, mystery and as I already said...a touch of humor, then DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK! Mary Higgens Clark knows how to write a good book

Summary: MHC puts into words everyone's worst nightmare !!
Review: Your worst nightmare - waking up and finding that you have been buried alive!! From the opening chapter, you are hooked into the story. If nothing else, you must find out what happens to the poor woman who wakes up to find herself buried alive with a string attached to her finger to a bell on the surface with no clanger. Everyone has either a horror of or fascination with death and Mary Higgins Clark employs that in her best book yet. Also, Clark successfully kept the identity of the killer from me until she decided it was time to let me in on it - just the way I like it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: MHC never fails to please...
Review: As far as I'm concerned, Mary Higgens Clark can keep writing and writing. This probably wasn't her best, but I still found it enjoyable. I've read all of her works, and find that I enjoyed her earlier books a little more. "Weep No More My Lady," "A Cry In The Night," "A Stranger Is Watching" are some of my favorites. I've never been disappointed in one of her books, and would recommend "Moonlight" to any MHC fans

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book was definetly a combination of horror and mystery.
Review: MOONLIGHT BECOMES YOU is GREAT!!! Mary Higgins Clark does it again with this brillant novel about a woman in search of answers to her step-mother's death. During her stay at an unfamilar town Maggie grieves over her step-mother's death. When she starts becoming suspicious of the unusual settings of the graveyard at which her step-mother is buried, she gets into trouble and ends up buried alive by someone she knows. The best part is figuring out who! If you like mind boggling suspense stories than this one is for you

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Another Mary Higgins Clark book that you can't put down!
Review: Mary Higgins Clark puts out another page turner that you just don't want to stop reading, but then you hope it never ends. She gives us excitement, suspense, that bit of romance, and the touch of love so true to her character! Just when you thought you knew who did it, the plot turns. A great book to escape with!!!!!
