Rating: Summary: This book is a an attention grabber and a thought opener. Review: This book really reached out and dulled my attention span. It really did not get interesting until Maggie Holloway's stepmother (Nuala Moore) was murdered and Maggie got all of Nuala's belongings. This brought the plot's beginning out and really reached out and grabbed my attention. It's a matter of why Dr. William Lane wanted Maggie Holloway's house and wanted Nuala to come and stay at the Latham Manor. Who killed Nuala Moore and tried to kill Maggie Holloway, and why? If you would like to see the answers to these questions I would advise you to read this novel. Another question would be could Liam Moore (Maggie's boyfriend) save Maggie's life. I recommend if you want to read a mysterious novel then check out this mystery. I think that anyone who likes to read then you will enjoy this book. Any one with a seventh grade reading level could read this book as well. So jump into the excitement.
Rating: Summary: Hauntingly eerie Review: The opening paragraph had me hooked. It was unbelievable and unthinkable. This is my all time favorite M.H. Clark book. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers.
Rating: Summary: Clark Disappoints Review: Mary Higgins Clark, author of numerous suspenseful mysteries, fails to rise to her writing ability in Moonlight Becomes You. Although Clark builds suspense, as you read you come upon conflict after conflict that leave you confused. She continually describes the unimportant aspects, for example the dining hall of Latham Manor, while forgetting to add detail to the more vital points. Clark sets the story in Newport, Rhode Island, a seemingly harmless town. She has the reader follow Maggie Holloway, a successful photographer. Maggie conducts her own personal investigation of her recently reunited step-mother's murder. Overall this book was drawnout, confusing, and we would not recommend Moonlight Becomes You to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Great Read! Review: I thought this book was a thriller. I loved it, and couldn't put it down. Believe me, Higgins Clark was already my favorite author, but this book really certifies her as the queen of suspense. My favorite character was definitely Earl Bateman. You know, a weekly cable TV program about funeral customs through the ages really isn't a bad idea. I'd watch it!

Rating: Summary: Okay but not really exciting Review: This is the second book by Ms. Clark which i have read. Sad to say it didn't come up to my expectations. Although the caskets, funeral parlor and cemetery gave me a creepy feeling, i was a litle bit bored in the succession of events.

Rating: Summary: Not that good, but an interesting reading Review: I just can't understand why the world loves so much Mrs. Mary Higgins Clark. Yes, she's an excelent author. Yes, most of her books are great, but I see no reason for them to go to #1 bestselling lists. This title is no exception. There are too many characters, too many people involved in a plot that seem very simple at first sight. And sometimes the book is so dull that I almost gave up reading it. But when you reach the last chapters things start to make sense, and there's when we meet the best part of a MHC's book. Yes, it's a good reading if you have nothing better to read.If you are a Mary Higgins Clark fan, I think you should try the books by Joy Fielding. Their styles are quite similar, but Joy writes in a way that makes you want more and more! I'd recommend MISSING PIECES and DON'T CRY NOW. And by Mary Higgins Clark, WE'LL MEET AGAIN, her latest book. Great one!
