Review: I usually enjoy this author very much, but this book fell very flat.I picked up on who the killer was right away, and to me, it was so obvious that I thought I had to be wrong...sad to say, I wasn't. Don't lose sleep if you skip this one.

Review: This is the 1st Margolin I've read and its probablly the BEST book I've ever read. It's face paced...suspensful and very surprising. The ending was completely different than what I was expecting. Its a MUST READ!! I hope Mr. Margolin will continue to write more novels like Wild Justice!! Its AWESOME!!!!!!

Review: This book is a screamer - not in the horror sense but in the context of a book you just don't want to put down. It grabs and never lets go. This book is just candy for the brain. For a great, quick read, this is a good one.

Review: This is my first Margolin book and without question it will be my last. Idiotic in the extreme with the most shallow characters I think I've ever encountered in fiction. It's an absolutely terrible book with maybe the most frightening part being the number of reviews praising it here at Amazon. Philip Margolin is talentless and this book ranks right up there with the Left Behind series in terms of low quality literature.

Summary: Why, What Was He Thinking??
Review: I read Gone But Not Forgotten when it first came out and while I don't remember too much about it, one thing that sticks in my mind was its mindblowing (though implausible) ending. Since then, I've occassionally read his others, which have been okay, but just that. Wild Justice, however, is awful. I won't bore you with a blow by blow recitation of the facts, because they've been recited by other reviewers and, more importantly, they don't merit any serious mention as that might lend some credence to this disaster of a story. Suffice it to say that Wild Justice is predictable from a mile away. The story is pointless and to say the characters are one dimensional is a compliment. Stick with Gone But Not Forgotten. If you want to read a really good thriller, read The Big Picture or The Job by Douglas Kennedy, the Hit Man by Lawrence Block, or A King's Ransom by Grippando.

Summary: A nice legal thriller/mystery
Review: I picked up this book because it's author is a fellow lawyer who used to practice law a few doors down from the office where I worked. Within the first 10 pages, I realized that this was a terrific mystery in and of itself. My hat goes off to Margolin. He's put together a tightly woven mystery which just keeps on getting more mystifying until the shocker of an ending. He's created a no less than six sociopathic characters who die or disappear only to resurface and keep you guessing. I'm not an avid mystery fan, but this book was fun to read. I spent three virtually sleepless nights because I couldn't put this book down.

Review: How ridiculous can we get? By far the worse thriller I've ever read. These people are doctors and lawyers? How stupid can Amanda be? And how much baggage can Margolin throw at Vincent Cardoni and his wife Justine Castle? These guys are surgeons? Flat dialogue. Unclear plot. Unbelievable cardboard characters. Complete waste of paper.

Summary: For The Real Blood And Gore Reader
Review: My biggest problem with this book is its lack of artifice; I figured out who the killer was almost from the start. This villian is a fiend who tortures, mutilates, and kills for fun and profit. Personally this is not "Thrilling" to me; it's sick and it is a substitute for plot, character development, and ambience. Author Margolin is about as subtle as a mace and chain. My regret is that I finished it.
