Review: This author occasionally misses but this one is a hit (check out UGLY DUCKLING or AND THEN YOU DIE but avoid THE SEARCH). Our heroine is blessed with two hunky heroes in this book. Of course one of them is trouble with a capital "T" which is the one I wanted her to choose. A definite alpha male - who can resist? Since I'm a Linda Howard/Anne Stuart fan, I couldn't. This book has it all - a scary villian, fast paced action, interesting plot with just enough surprises and, as I stated above, two hunky men. You won't be disappointed. Another book I would recommend is LONE RIDER by Lauren Bach. Ladies, this one is HOT.

Review: This is an excellent book in my opinion. I totally enjoyed it. This is only the second book I have read by Iris Johansen, and I was just as impressed with this book as I was with the first one, (And Then You Die). This book was full of great suspense, and kept a good pace. (I also didn't want it to end.) I would definately recommend it to anyone who likes a good suspense with a touch of romance thrown in.

Review: This is the first of Johansen's books that I have read. It was absolutely amazing, although I still think they should have killed the guy on the lawn when they had the chance. Although that would have been the end of the story and the rest would have been rather boring. Great book! I loved it, and I'm looking forward to reading more of Johansen's work.

Review: This is the only book I have read by Iris Johansen and I can not wait to read more by her. Long After Midnight kept me up reading long past midnight. This book is a MUST READ by any reader who loves a good mystery!

Review: This is the second book I've read by this author. I thought "...And Then You Die" was very good, but I torn through this book in just 3 days! It's excellent! Great surprises, great characters, great story! I can't wait to dig into another of her books!

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: This is the third book that I have read by Johansen and I think it was my 2nd favorite. I love her writing, it always keeps me thinking. I couldn't put any of her books down. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because I wasn't to impressed with the end. I wanted to read about the wedding. I wanted to know what happened with RU2 and if it was allowed in the states. I was curious as to if it helped Kate's father. I really wish there were a sequal to this one.

Summary: Enjoyable, but not Iris Johansen's best work
Review: This novel is a decent read, but too long for the plot and its resolution. Kate Denby, the central character, as a previous reviewer mentioned, really is too young to realistically have made it where she is in her career and her life.

Also her wishy-washy fastasizing between Noah and Seth goes against the grain of the rest of her personality, which is portrayed as very determined and clear-headed.

Finally, the character of the man who is stalking her is simply ridiculous and doesn't "fit" within the framework of the story. Perhaps that was the author's intention: in a novel of modern science and conspiracies, to have a very spiritually "evil" villain, but it just doesn't work.

I am a big fan of Iris Johansen, but this novel, while mildly entertaining, was not up to her typical cutting-edge, mysteries with crisp well-defined and realistic characters.

Review: This was a wonderful book full of suspense and romance. It also covered a topic that not many stories have used, genetics. I loved it almost as much as Johansen's "The Ugly Duckling"

Review: This was the 1st book by IRIS JOHANSEN that I have read and it blew me away. I am a seasoned reader. I have very high expectations from the material that I read. This story was great! Her style of writing reminded me of SIDNEY SHELDON who I consider a master! Her story was smart and unpredictable. I loved it!

Summary: Best Book I've read...Ever!
Review: What a store teller Iris is in this book. It scared me, but I couldn't put it down. Very fast pace and keeps you on the edge of your sit. I only discovered this author 6 months ago, but have since read all of her books. Content definitely improves from earlier writings. I anxiously await the next novel by Iris!
