Rating: Summary: I was up late laughing Review: I LOVED this book. Because of this book I am now a Linda Howard addict. Because of this book I have spent hours trying to find all her books. Because of this book and others of Linda Howard's, I have circles under my eyes and am delirious from lack of sleep. I have to say Jaine Bright is my favorite character out of all Linda Howard's protagonists. And Sam Donavan? He's nothing to sneeze at either... ;) LOL.Other books I suggest for Linda Howard fans are Karen Robards, Patricia Cabot, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Susan Isaacs.
Rating: Summary: Funny...A great Book! Review: I read this book from cover to cover in one evening! The mix of mystery, romance and friendship was very entertaining...it also helped that the book takes place in the Detroit metro area; which is an area to which I am very familiar. Regardless, I enjoyed this book very much and have already recommended it to several of my friends.

Rating: Summary: Loved it from start to finish Review: I listen to books on tape. This one made me laugh out loud. Jaine is fun to root for and the man she found is a hunk.
Rating: Summary: Great book - will have you laughing half the time Review: Contrary to a number of other reviewers, I found this book quite up to Ms. Howard's usual standards, certainly better than "All the Queen's Men" which, in my opinion, remains her worst recent attempt. And even that is relative as Ms. Howard's worst would be considered a good effort if written by another author. The book is quite suspenseful with a number of good love scenes thrown in. The scene where the ten point wish list is devised is hilarious although a number of others were as great (the early morning coffee scene with the free view which Jaine gets of Sam is particularly good). I did not appreciate certain characters (whom I had become fond of) being killed off but it was actually good vis-a-vis plot development.
Rating: Summary: FUNNY (ALITERATIVE WORD FOR INTERCOURSE) Review: THIS BOOK BROKE ME UP AND I HAVE BEEN READING SERIOUS STUFF FOR MONTHS. THE MYSTERY ISN'T MUCH BUT IT BREAKS THE SEX UP INTO POSSIBLE SEQUENCES. I PICKED UP TWO OF HER OTHER BOOKS: SON OF MORNING AND QUEENS MEN AND I THOUGHT I HAD MADE A MISTAKE BECAUSE THERE IS NO CONNECTION. SHE SHOULD STICK WITH SEX AND FUNNY.
Rating: Summary: The Perfect Romance/Suspense Worthy of 10 Stars~! Review: This is what I call a blockbuster romantic suspense story! Unbelievable! I wish I could rate this with 10 or more stars, but I can't :( I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed this one! Over 400 pages and had it done in close to 8 hours, I could NOT put it down! The characters jumped off the pages and the terror was so real I felt chills race down my spine! The humor was one of the best parts and kept you distracted enough to gasp when the terror jumped in. ~Jaine Bright and her three best friends all meet every Friday night at the local bar and grill to girl-talk after work. One night in particular they meet up and begin talking about what would make the 'perfect man.' A conversation ensues, part joke, part serious until they have composed a humorous list of attributes "Mr. Perfect" should have. The next day they forget about the 'list' and are shocked to find out that their list has been printed in the workplace newsletter and starts to show up in emails, on t.v. and even the radio! The women are in shock! What begins as a harmless joke turns deadly when all the women begin receiving threatening phone calls from someone who is disguising their voice and then one of the four is brutally murdered. Completely in shock, Jaine turns to her unpredictable and unruly neighbor, a cop whom she has just met, not in good graces either for help. Sam (the neighbor cop) thinks its just a weird coincedence until the htreatys and evidence startys to build to a frightening frenzy and he realizes his beautiful, but very aggrivating neighbor Jaine, is in serious danger from some crazy killer bent on shutting her and her 'list' friends up for good! The tension and suspense is unbelievable! I honestly did not guess the killer's identity at all and was in shock at the end! The humorous parts were hysterical when Jaine tries to get along with the neighbor at first when she thinks he is some drunken druglord and completely rude and he thinks she is some dumb twit come to drive him insane! I must say, the kitchen window scene is the best and will have you in tears! The suspense and terror is very real and I found myself cringing and my heart racing on many parts. This is very well my favorite romantic/suspense yet, this one will be hard to beat! DO NOT miss this one, you well be sorry you did! Now I have to start looking for all of Ms. Howard's books, she has a new devoted fan! Tracy Talley~@
Rating: Summary: Margaret - Melbourne Review: The only problem about this book - was that it ended! This book was a laugh a minute - don't read the negative reviews - they must have been reading a different book!! This would have to be the best LH book to date - a pity she doesn't write more books along the same format.
Rating: Summary: Excellent!! Review: I loved this book! I read the proloque and that was it; I could not put it down. The pairing of Jaine Bright and Sam Donovan is so good and a laugh a minute then add the mystery to it and you've got a great read! This was my first book by Linda Howard and won't be my last.
Rating: Summary: When did potty mouths become sexy? Review: I had high hopes for this book. I had heard so many people rave about it that I just had to give it a try. I kept on giving it tries all the way to the last page but it never made me feel anything other than disquist. First of all, the two characters are both potty mouths. I'm sorry but if the "f" word iws supposed to shown realism, I'll stay in my fantasty world. The plot was so unbelievably transparent and I never bought any of it. I like gruff heroes and feisty females, but underneath they have to have honor and substance. These two did not.
