Summary: Predictable, but entertaining
Review: I enjoyed the book. The story had several funny moments. The basic plot was good. However, I didn't give it 5 stars, because there was no real mystery. I knew who the killer was, and I knew in which order the four friends would be victimized.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Fun Read!!
Review: L. Howard infuses from the beginning humor, you snicker though out the book. Its just plain fun!! Enjoy!

Summary: Ms. Howard just gets better and better
Review: I picked this book up on Friday afternoon and didn't put it down until I finished it at 1:30 Saturday morning. This story is a good mystery. Ms. Howard had me hooked from the start. The dialogue between her characters is wonderful. The women in the story could easily have been myself and my friends. Now the hero isn't your everyday guy. Sam is great. The dislike that becomes love between Sam and Jaine is very entertaining and believable. Ms. Howard's writing, in my opinion, has improved greatly over the years. I no longer see her as a 'romance' novelist but as a mystery, suspense author with a little romance thrown in to round out the story.

Summary: Not her best
Review: Love Howard- but this hardback is not worth the price. Wait for the paperback, or check out your local library and save all of the price of admission. Others on this page have written that the central plot more than confounds it is just plain silly. True. Gaining national media exposure over a list of qualities that define the perfect man? Oprah on a VERY slow week. The male lead also is wafer thin in characterization .

Summary: Really Enjoyable
Review: I've never read anything from Linda Howard before, but I sure will now. This book was really fun to read. The dialogue was original and really funny. I laughed and laughed. The romance was great. A real winner!

Summary: Mr. Perfect
Review: Linda Howard has done it again! She has managed once again to write a suspenseful, on the edge of your seat, book. And still, even with the gruesome murders, it was funny and witty. I just loved the relationship between Sam Donovan and Jaine Bright. This is a wonderful book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: MR. PERFECT
Review: LINDA HOWARD HAS WRITTEN ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS TO COME OUT IN A LONG TIME. I LAUGHED AND LAUGHED. THE FRIEND WHO LENT ME THE BOOK, SAID SHE TURNED AROUND AND REREAD IT WHEN SHE GOT DONE. THIS BOOK IS A KEEPER.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Best Linda Howard Book Since McKenzie's Mountain
Review: I LOVED this book! Ms. Howard, please, please give us more female characters like the ones in this book! Jaine was fantastic, and fun, and so real. I actually have a very good friend just like her. And Sam...well, they don't any better than him. This book is, to date, my favorite Linda Howard novel, and I've read them all. I'm really glad I got the hardback version - it's a keeper for sure.

Summary: KIND OF DISAPPOINTED...
Review: I truly do enjoy Linda Howard's work outside of her mystery line. Why is it that all of the really good romance writers try to move into the mystery area. None of them are truly any good. This book stunk as much as her last few mystery novels. I suggest that she sticks to her romance line because she really is not getting any better with the mysteries. I will not be buying any more mysteries by Howard.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Laughter and Tears
Review: The Mr. Perfect List starts as good, clean, girl fun but ends in distaster when it gains the attention of, not only the media, but someone who takes a murderous exception to it. The relationship building between Jaine Bright and Sam Donovan is sexy as well as hilarious but the story turns to tears as the death count rises. You know "who dun it"; but will Sam figure it out before the next one dies?

A fast and enjoyable read. I hope you enjoy it too.
