Summary: Awful, Awful, Awful
Review: The second to the worst book I've _ever_ attempted to read. (The worst? "Left Behind" by Tim Lahaye.) Don't bother buying it or even checking it out of your local library. Its a total waste of time! Its not even a good trash read for a beach or a long weekend. Skip it and save yourself for something enjoyable!

Summary: Another winner
Review: This was so much better than her last two books. The dialogue and the chemistry between the hero and heroine was perfect! Buy this book .

Summary: The best book I've read all year!!
Review: This was my first Linda Howard book and it won't be my last! I bought it on a whim in hardcover, which is something I usually don't do, but this book was worth it!

Jaine Bright and her 3 friends meet after work on Friday night and create a list of what the perfect man would be. Soon after, that the List gets public attention and almost overnight makes the women stars. One by one the women start to get murdered and Jaine soon realizes she's next.

In the midst of all the suspense and mystery, Jaine starts a hot and heavy romance with her hunky neighbor, Sam who happens to be a detective. Together they try to discover who the killer is before it's too late.

This book is the perfect mix of mystery, romance, and humor. Jaine is probably the best fictional character I've read in awhile. She's tough as nails with a sense of humor to match! You can't help but laugh out loud reading some of the dialog between Jaine and Sam. I wish that Ms. Howard would make a series out of these characters because I sure would enjoy reading about them again!

Summary: New Linda Howard Fan too!
Review: Oh My! What can I say? I could NOT put this book down from beginning to end. Loved Jaime and Sam especially (what's not to love?). Followed the women from first concept of their kind of man to the end and hated to see it end at all.

Could there PLEASE be a sequel to this one with Jaime and Sam?

Summary: Way to make up for "All the Queen's Men"!
Review: I loved this book so much! All the Queen's Men was a disappointment, but I decided to give Ms. Howard another try before forever relegating her to "paperback only" status. I'm so glad I did. This was the most enjoyable read I've had since Dara Joy's "High Energy". Although I figured out the villain pretty easily, it was very suspenseful. The relationship between the two main characters was, well, perfect. I laughed outloud more times than I can count. I'll keep this one and read it again.

Summary: A Sensuous Thriller
Review: I've long been a fan of Linda Howard's work -- since her category romance days. At first I mourned her move from romance to romantic suspense but I needn't have worried. She's able to give readers nail-biting suspense while not ignoring the romantic aspect of the story.

Jaine and Sam are a great couple -- a favorite scene has Sam - naked - in his home and Jaine unable to take her eyes off him - even as she is calling him to tell him he should close his curtains.

The premise of the media frenzy over four co-workers' list of attributes for the perfect man makes interesting reading.

I would recommend this more for women readers; men may enjoy it as well.

Summary: Fantastic!!
Review: After reading some of the reviews, I have decided that you are either a Linda Howard fan--100% or you aren't. There doesn't seem to be many people in the middle. Having read nearly all of her works, I can say that this is nearly the best, next to "McKenzie's Mountain". Of course, "After the Night" and "Dream Man" are right up there with the best. However, the two characters in "Mr. Perfect" are "perfect" plays off each other. Their conversations are witty and flirty. I imagine many people would like to have those quick comebacks. The signs on the elevators would lighten my day. I think Ms. Howard gets better with time and look forward to her next "masterpiece." Until then I will re-read Mr. Perfect and all of the others I mentioned.

Summary: Linda Howard is the "perfect " choice!
Review: Linda Howard remains one of my very favorite authors, maybe number one. I haven't read a book by her that I didn't like. Some of my all time favorite books that I keep are by Linda. Mr. Perfect happens to be one of them. I was kept in suspense until the end, and the love scenes were extra steamy. I liked the characters, they seemed so real and likeable. I recommend Linda Howard to everyone who loves a good book. Mr. Perfect is a winner!

Summary: The beginning of a great series!
Review: This laugh-out-loud book has it all. Suspense, humor and romance. Jaine Bright and 3 of her friends make a list of the qualities they feel Mr. Perfect should have. When this list becomes public, they are horrified. However, they soon decide to make the most of it and hope their star status will soon fade. Little do they know they are putting themselves right into the hands of someone who takes great offense at their list. This is the suspense part!

As for the humor and romance, meet Jaine's neighbor, Sam Donovan. The banter between Sam and Jaine is funny and yet touching.

This was an excellent book and could be the start of a great new series!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Couple!
Review: The great thing about these two is the interaction between them. Jaine and her cusswords, her love of red pick-ups, and her charging through life are a great lure to this major hunk of a policeman. I enjoyed the beginning of their relationship with all its sniping and drooling and the plot is great. The weirdo going after the four friends who invent the criteria for Mr. Perfect is a winner
