Summary: One of the greats!
Review: My girlfriend sent me the hardcover of this book. We both love Linda Howard but we have never enjoyed her so much as in this book. I loved the characters and I laughed till tears rolled down my cheeks! This is one of the best I have ever read and is among my top 4-5 "keepers". I will enjoy reading it again and again. I think I will buy 2-3 copies (paperback) because I have a feeling I just may wear this one out!

Summary: This is the best book , Linda surprises us all with this one
Review: I have read multiple books by Linda Howard and enjoy that her books all have a different story. She doesn't just follow one idea and one style as a matter of fact she changes her style with almost each book. She is always good for a surprise. This book took me by surprise, I really wasn't sure what I had expected but this is the first time I read a book of hers where I laughed out loud constantly. Sure, when she writes about the murder part you don't laugh out loud, but even then she will not let you down and turns the friends into a group of woman you just want to be part of . The way how they stick together and cheer each other up is just wonderful. Sam fits right in..;-) I can highly recommend this book. The characters are alive and you definately want to be part of their life and friendship and Linda Howard makes it possible by opening Sam and Jaine's world to you. Very funny, charming and interesting. The whole book is wonderful and I hope you all are going to enjoy it and have a great time. Each situation is dealt with in a humorful but not overwhelming matter and it seems so right and real. As you can tell I am saddened that I have finished it and wished there would be more books like that from Linda Howard. She is definately a big surprise. Each book has a differnt style. Well I hope you are all enjoying it and laugh out loud. That is so special about this book. You fly right through it .. so fasten your seat belt.. this is a good book and you will enjoy it I am sure.

Summary: funny, hot, sexy, funny
Review: I think every women in america needs a Sam. Jaine and Sam together are just instant chemistry. I love a hero that say exactly whats on his mind and all of Ms. Howards have that quality.

Ms. Howard you have done it again. Please write another story involving Jaine and Sam. I continue to read it over, its just that good.

Thank you.

Summary: A Perfect Book!
Review: MR. PERFECT was nearly perfect--a perfect blend of romance, suspense, humor, and great characterization. The suspense didn't overshadow the romance and the romance didn't overshadow the suspense. Jaine was an utterly delightful protagonist and Sam was indeed a "Dream Man". I'll definitely be buying Ms. Howard's next hardcover based on how great this one was.

Summary: A mystery with humor and lots of sex!!
Review: This book mixes humor, mystery and a good dollop in sex in a very light, easy to read "beach book" No heavy thought needed, just come along for a good, fast, and entertaining read. When Jaine Bright and her friends cook up the list for Mr. Perfect, they have no idea the impact it will have on their lives. Somewhere out there is some one who doesn't like the list, and is going to make these women pay with their lives. Detective Sam Donovan, who has a hate/love relationship with Jaine, is not going to let that happen. I have to admit that I figured out the killer, long before the end of the book, but I still had fun getting there.

Summary: Best book I've read in a long time.....
Review: I laughed so hard at some parts of this book I almost choked. My aunt and I have both read it and now continually say My God, BooBoo, would you look at that ! and then crack up. Jaine is alot like me and other women I know. Not shallow, or prissy. I like her alot and wouldn't mind her being my neighbor at all, especially if she brought Sam along. This was my first Linda Howard book but will not be the last. I collect only certain authors and this book is going on the cannot borrow shelf(sorry, mom)

Summary: My first Linda Howard book and definitely not my last!
Review: If you're looking into buying this book - DO IT! You won't be dissapointed. I laughed so hard the people in the next apartment knocked on the wall to shut me up at three in the morning. I just couldn't put it down. The main characters where a hoot and very real. And the murderer, I had no clue up until the end. This positively will only be one of my many books that I will collect of Linda Howards.

Summary: I have to wonder who Ms. Howard's editor is
Review: This was my first "Linda Howard" book, and I have to say that I found her very refreshing. Her wit with her characters made me laugh out loud. I felt that they were very true to life people. The plot was intriguing, and the twists left me guessing for a while. However, I could not give this book 5 stars because I found too many overlooked mistakes in the editing of this book. I had to reread sentences more then twice to make sure that I had read it correctly. One big blunder was the misspelling of the main character's name, near the end of the book. It would behoove Ms. Howard to read her printed work, and talk with her editor about this not happening again. It is not the writer's fault that her printed work goes out with these kinds of mistakes, however, this author can not expect people to pay full price for something that is not well edited. I do look forward to reading the other works of this author that I have purchased, as I feel she has great talent as a story teller.

Summary: Another Winner
Review: Linda Howard writes another winner in Mr. Perfect. A plausible plot, story definition and flames between the two main characters, what more can you ask for? Another winner by Ms. Howard...she can't write them fast enough for me.

Summary: Her best book
Review: I honestly feel like this is Linda's best book. Her characters are so real (the drunk scenes, the attempts to quit cussing, and the love scenes). And the killer! Whew--what a twist, I didn't see that one coming... I have enjoyed almost all of Linda's books (An Independent Wife being the notable exception) and can say without a doubt that this books tops them all!
