Rating: Summary: ¿Pizza or Chinese?¿ Review: "Chinese," Catherine answered drowsily, trailing her fingers along the crest of Rebecca's hip. "More green vegetables.""Oh, yeah. I guess I need to preserve my strength if we're going to keep this up." Rebecca shifted, moving the arm that she just realized was numb. In fact, now that she thought about it, a lot of her seemed to be pleasantly enervated. "We are going to keep it up, right?" "Don't tell me you still need more." "Well, not right this very minute," Rebecca conceded, wondering if she'd ever walk again, "but soon." Catherine leaned up on an elbow, pushing strands of damp hair back from her face, and stared at her. "Are you serious?" Rebecca grinned. "Okay, maybe not until the morning." "Thank God, because I am exhausted." She settled back in the crook of Rebecca's arm and drew one leg up over her lover's thigh. The room was dim, afternoon somehow having slipped into dusk, and the day held that timeless quality that only late Sundays in waning summer could. It reminded her of the naïve innocence of childhood when life seemed to be nothing more than an endless stretch of warm, lazy afternoons. Bicycles and tennis and a favorite book under the shade of a tree-no concept of disappointment or loss. Not even then, and certainly never as an adult, could she ever remember having been so satisfied or so completely content. She couldn't think of a single thing to worry about. Somewhere in the back of her pheromone-saturated mind, that fact rang danger bells, but she couldn't bear to break the spell by probing for the source. "I'd rather be here with you like this than do anything else in the world." For a second, Rebecca's heart stopped, and she could hear the blood stilling in her veins. The idea of being that important to this one incredible, remarkable woman was terrifying and exhilarating and like nothing she'd ever experienced. Nothing in her life had ever struck her with the power of that single sentence, not even getting her shield. Not even the bullet. "Why?" Why me, of all the women you could chose? "You remind me of what's important."
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: Detective Sergeant Rebecca Frye and Doctor Catherine Rawlings return in the sequel to Shield of Justice. Barely recovered from a near fatal injury, Rebecca insists on returning to duty even if it means temporary assignment to a Federal task force led by a Justice agent with an agenda which may be more than meets the eye. Joined by a troubled young rookie and an enigmatic computer consultant with secrets of her own, Rebecca's obsession with finding her partner's killer and her involvement in the multi-jurisdictional investigation of an international child pornography ring threaten both her life and her new relationship with Catherine. Even Catherine's professional assistance and personal devotion may not be enough to save their love.
Rating: Summary: WOW--yet again!!!!!! Review: I have become addicted to Radcyffe's work. This book was no exception. I enjoyed how she tied characters from two of her previous books together, (Shield of Justice and A Matter of Trust). Radclyffe does a wonderful job of building the chemistry, sparks, and emotions between the characters of her books--espcially between the primary couple, Rebecca and Catherine. Although, I thought the relationship between Sloan and Michael (from A Matter of Trust) was secondary, this book showed us how their relationship had developed and how their love had grown even stronger since the past book. The intrigue of the story also had me looking ahead to the next page. Radclyffe's mixture of crime and passion is superb. In Pursuit of Justice definitely left us hanging--had several unresolved issues. I just hope the next sequal to this is not long behind!!!!

Rating: Summary: Another master work Review: If you are familiar with Radclyffe's work, then there is nothing that I can tell you. As usual, this is a terrific book with excitement, suspense and plenty of romance. It picks up the story from Shield of Justice and continues the relationship between Sgt. Rebecca Frye and Dr. Catherine Rawlings as they are drawn into a special task force that is trying to stop a child pornography ring. Since the ring functions online, there is a special treat in that computer ace Sloan and her partner Michael from Radclyffe's previous book, A Matter of Trust, are introduced into the story. The story is not resolved completely at the end, so one can only hope that there is another book in this series. Buy this. You will not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Fabulous story and characters set in NYC Review: These are my favorite characters by this author. They are well rounded and fascinating people. If possible this book is even better than the first book in this series Shield of Justice. You will not put this down once you start so make sure you have a large block of time, get comfortable and enjoy!
