Rating: Summary: Excellent, a real page turner, couldn't put it down Review: I have been a James Paterson fan for years, and I'm always looking for his newest book. This was written before Alex Cross, which is too bad, I've become a huge fan of John Stefanovitch. But since this is one of his "older" works he is obviously getting better and better. I would highly recommend this book and all others by James Paterson.
Rating: Summary: Riveting--Spell-binding--Awesome Characters!!!! Review: A must read for the true mystery-crime-romance book reader. This was my first Patterson book and it was an awesome read. Talk about putting other things to the side, staying up late, and straining my eyes to finish--it was purely addictive. The storyline, characters, and the awesome twists treats the avid mystery reader through an awesome adventure. This is the type of book that great movies derive from. Look out Grisham---Patterson can really weave a great story also.
Rating: Summary: Not another Alex Cross novel!! But, I found it to be good! Review: Even though this novel was not about Alex Cross and the Washington D.C metro area, I found it to be an interesting read. I have read several Patterson novels and I have not been disappointed yet!!
Rating: Summary: I loved this book and can't wait for the movie! Review: I really liked this book..as to the nay sayers I say GET OVER IT! Let the guy have some breathing room....All it can do is help Paterson as an author to(forgive me) spread his wings (I had to go for the cheep pun!)! I too was surprised by the plot and so forth of the book but once I realized that this was not the usual fair from Paterson I decide to see what else the guy could do... I was very impressed by the book. It was a very fun read and I loved the characters... Frannie was everything I would want in a Vet, neighbor, and friend Kit was a great tortured character that warms slowly and MAX ...Max was great! She was a perfect little head strong child that like a lot of kids that had strange lives (without parents or with only one parent)could be a scared child one second and an in charge little adult the next! The descriptions of flight are wonderful you could almost picture it! I HOPE that there are people in hollywood that are wanting to make this into a movie! I think that it would translate wonderfully! I say if you can let go of pigeon holing an author read this book... if not let this one go... and realize that you are missing something special!
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: this book created a whole new REAL (it seemed) world of crime and punishment that swept me off my feet-i cant descrbe how much i loved this book!!!-i couldnt put it down!!!- i read the entire thing in 2 days!!!-not only that-i kept coming back for more of james pattersons books-he is the best author ever!!!
Rating: Summary: good, addictive, worthy Review: This book is actually quite a joy to read. From the moment the book starts till the end, you really do get a feel for the main character and the pain he is going through. Without spoiling the ending, he finally gets to accomplish what we all wanted to happen and you can put the book down thinking "I wish it would go on". Mr Patterson has proved that he doesnt necessarily need to rely on Mr Cross in order to produce suspenseful novels.
Rating: Summary: I think that this book was good Review: I think this book was good but it was not one of James Patterson's best. Here is how I rank the books with the other Patterson books I have read.Along Came A Spider, Cat And Mouse, Hide And Seek, Kiss The Girls, The Midnight Club, Jack And Jill,
Rating: Summary: not his best but still very good. Review: well i really liked it but it was kind of short. a little hard to get into but once you do it's a good book. definetly worth reading
Rating: Summary: It's a Sleeper! Review: Unfortunately, this is one of James Patterson's book that I couldn't get into. I guess I am hook on Alex Cross who always keeps you guessing what will happen next. Where as John Stefanovitch is someone I couldn't stay awake for! There are some James Patterson's books that have a slow start but it flows right to the end. This is one that goes nowhere very, very, slowly!
Rating: Summary: What a GREAT read!! Review: Okay, so it is different from his other work, BUT man, if you're looking for a "thinking person's mystery" give this book a go. I fell instantly in love with the main character and thought Patterson's take on a disabled cop in NY was wonderfully refreshing and intriguing.
