Summary: Excellent debut
Review: There's not much to say that hasn't already been said - this book had me enthralled from the beginning, the plot was original and most of the characters were convincing. The style was easy to read and slightly quirky. I agree with the reviewer who said the number of characters was slightly confusing - I also didn't realise there were two police forces involved at first and even when I did I got confused about which was which!
The ending was exciting and satisfying - I liked the touch about the Priest.
At the end of the book there was a chapter of the next book in the series - I was really pleased that some of the same characters will be in the next book - I hope it's as long a series as the 87th Precinct books as I liked the characters just as much already!
