Rating: Summary: I DIDNT BELIEVE HE COULD COME UP WITH ANOTHER 10/10 Review: HAVING READ THE REST OF HIS BOOKS I WAS CONVINCED THAT C & M WOULD FLOP. HOW WRONG I WAS. I READ THE ENTIRE BOOK ON A FLIGHT FROM SYDNEY TO FRANKFURT ( 25 HOURS). PATTERSON HAS AN INCREDIBLE WAY OF CONVINCING THE READER. BRILLIANT. AND YET AGAIN WE HAVE BEEN LEFT WAITING FOR HIS NEXT HELPING. FOR ME I CANT WAIT.!! BRUCE WHITE
Rating: Summary: Cat & Mouse Review: Absolutely loved this book. Suspense all the way. Just when you thought you had it figured out, out jumps another twist (although I did gather that Pierce/Smith were the same). Always enjoyed Mr. Patterson's books. Hard to figure out the ending right away.
Rating: Summary: Can't wait for the next book Review: Alex Cross is one of the best characters I've met in a long time. He is someone I would like to know. Mr. Patterson's characters are very well written, I feel like I know them. That is why, although a fantastic actor, Morgan Freeman, was not a good choice. I can't wait Alex's next visit.
Rating: Summary: And the next book is due out when? Review: I had to close the book half way through, crying, NO! NO! not Alex. Finally got the courage to keep reading. Mr Patterson, you had me from page one, and kept me (apart from the one small walk around the apartment) to the last page. Now, how long till we find out what happened at the end of Cat and Mouse? And the most annoying thing? None of my friends have read this book yet!
Rating: Summary: James Patterson at his best!!!! Review: Having read, and thoroughly enjoyed Along Came a Spider, Jack and Jill, and Kiss the Girls I knew that I would love Cat and Mouse. I more than love it!! This book reaches out and grabs you and for weeks after your done with it you will still be wondering whether or not someone is out there to get revenge on you!! I strongly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: WOW! A THRILLING NOVEL YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN! Review: JAMES PATTERSON RETURNS WITH ALEX CROSS FOR HIS BEST STORY YET. THE STORY IS SUSPENSFUL, AND IT KEEPS YOU GUESSING ALL THE WAY TO THE END. THE FACT THAT GARY SONEJI RETURNS JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW CLOSELY KNIT PATTERSONS' NOVELS CAN BE. ONE ADVICE THAT I GIVE TO READERS IS TO FIRST READ "ALONG CAME A SPIDER", "KISS THE GIRLS" AND "JACK AND JILL" IN THAT ORDER BEFORE PLUNGING INTO THIS NOVEL. YOU'LL FALL IN LOVE WITH THE CHARACTERS AND YOU'LL FEEL LIKE YOU TRULLY KNOW ALEX CROSS. THE BOOK WILL BE MORE ENJOYABLE. HAPPY READING.
Rating: Summary: just hear/read the book "Cat and Mouse" Best ever!!!!!! Review: Anthony Heald and Keith David are the "perfect" Gary Soneji and Alex Cross. The voices fit the character "More than Perfectly". thank you!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A WONDERFUL BOOK - PATTERSON A HIS BEST! Review: Cat & Mouse - A great book from beginning to end. He grabs you at the beginning till the end . . . and doesn't let go there. A good addition to his other great novels: Jack & Jill, Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls
Rating: Summary: CAPTIVATING FROM BEGINNING TO END, SUSPENSEFUL! Review: PATTERSON IS A UNIQUE STORYTELLER! GRABS HOLD OF YOU FROM THE START AND WON'T LET GO UNTIL HE'S DONE!!! CHARACTERS ARE REAL. HIS VILLAINS ARE SPOOKY (HE'S GOT ME LOOKING AROUND ME, UNDER ME, ALL OVER)!!!
Rating: Summary: Semi-Confusing, yet satisfying Review: By Four from Ohio!!!! Cat and Mouse was a captivating yet confusing novel. As the book starts, the reader finds himself turning the pages to see what type of sick plans Gary Soneji has to terminate the life of detective Alex Cross. Will he act through Cross' family? As Soneji goes on his killing sprees, Cross is busy juggling the case, and his love for Christine. Finally Cross catches Soneji and SUPPOSEDLY kills him. After that, the book seemed to turn a little weird. There was Mr. Smith who was a feared killer in Europe. When we found out his identity, we had to turn back and check out what we just had read. When the narrators kept getting switched, it was hard to keep track of who said what. Once again in one of Patterson's novels, the ending seemed uneventful and boring. Although some of the descriptions of the murders were overly graphic, especially Mr. Smith's victims, these were needed to show the killer as the psychotic maniac that he was. Even with the flaws in the novel, we gave it an "8" because it was a real attention-getter.
